Hi all,
We had an event yesterday that I recorded to my computer. When I converted the file, for some reason 2 of the 2.5 hours recorded the audio portion and NOT THE SCREEN? While it's nice to hear everyone's voice, the whole reason of recording is to reference back to it! It was our annual Employee Appreciation event and I'm praying there's a way to get this fixed. Can someone help??

Hey @Sccnkyle72, assuming this was a local recording. Zoom basically records whatever is displayed on the screen, so basically what you're seeing is what the Zoom records locally.
There's not much configuration compared to Cloud recording that I could think of that would be causing an issue rather than what was displayed during the meeting. Were you by chance sharing your screen during your recording?
There are these settings within your Zoom desktop client > Recording that have not recorded the screen IF you were screen sharing (your video).
You said you converted, which if locally recorded, you can find that recording in your Zoom desktop client, under 'meetings' 👉 'recorded' and you will see the locally recorded videos from there. You can also go to zoom.us/recording to see all cloud recordings if available or the path for local recordings if you didn't take this path of accessing your local recording.
And for future recordings, you can look into the Recording Layouts KB article, which is helpful when recording meeting content!
