On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Q&A text box disappears while typing response

Two of our training webinar panelists have reported issues with the Q&A text box disappearing while they're typing responses to attendee questions. Has anyone experienced this issue? Zoom folks, do you know why this would be happening? Seems like a bug. It's important for our panelists to be able to answer questions from attendees, so this issue causes problems for us.

If I were experiencing this issue I would be haunted by my past with certain laptops touchpads that were far too sensitive, and often caused issues like this for me.

 

Not saying that this is the case, but it might be worth temporarily having those users plug-in an external USB keyboard and try using the Q&A again to see if this behavior continues.

 

Just an added troubleshooting thought.
