On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Practice Session starting whilst a Webinar is running

Hello

I have a series of webinars coming up with a short turnaround between sessions. Can I start a practice session whilst a webinar is still running?

Thanks

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @AlisonK.

It depends. Are these webinars all owned by the same user, and not part of a Zoom Event?  If this is the case, you are unlikely to be able to do this – and you can confirm this by simply setting up two test webinars and trying it out.

If you stagger the ownership between two different users and use Scheduling Privilege to share ownership, you could probably get away with it. Again, create a test scenario and make sure it works for you – there are many variables in any scenario, and you’re better off testing to be sure.
