Hey all,
I teach one-on-one through Zoom, and I use Calendly to allow students to schedule times with me. I frequently run into the message "This meeting is scheduled for" and some date and time in the past. I gather this is because the Calendly event synced to Zoom and made an event, which I then made recurring through Google Cal. This would make the event recurring in Google Cal, but not in Zoom, so Zoom thinks the event is in the past.
According to this article (https://teamdynamix.umich.edu/TDClient/30/Portal/KB/ArticleDet?ID=5624) I should simply find the meeting in my Previous Meetings list and make it recurring there, but none of my Calendly events appear in my Previous Meetings.
Any advice?

You can also make the Zoom meeting recurring by clicking on 'Edit' on the meeting page.

When I do this, Calendly doesn’t recognize that it’s reoccurring and cases double bookings. What’s the fix to make reoccurring meetings in Calendly?

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @BarryBishopLC.
I'm not clear on what you mean by "when I do this". The original post was about locating Calendly sessions in the Previous Meetings list on Zoom, and the follow-up was about editing the Meeting from Zoom's Meetings menu on the web portal. Can you give me a little more detail on what you're trying to accomplish, and how you tried that didn't work?
I use Calendly a good bit, and it's not really designed to make recurring meetings. See this Calendly Support article:

My recommendation is that you make edits to Calendly meetings on the Zoom web portal here:
https://zoom.us/meeting#/upcoming
Making these edits on add-ins like Outlook and Google frequently causes unintended consequences -- or just simply screws things up. 😎

Hi @sigurdur130
Calendly is not designed for taking an appointment and making it recurring.
Secondly, Zoom is not perfect at this either becuase it uses the same meeting code for each meeting and then tries to project those meetings into the future.
I would suggest that you can use calendly to allow students to choose a meeting slot.
I then suggest you setup a recorruing meeting in zoom for that students and add it for a recurring google calandar appointment.

Looking through Calendly's support forums it doesn't look like they support recurring meetings and so if recurring meetings are a frequent use case you may want to consider a different workflow for setting up your meetings. You could create a calendar attachment for each recurring meeting and add it to your It would important to ensure all recurring meetings end up as calendar files on your calendar to avoid double booking. There are also scheduling apps built for recurring meetings such as Salepager that integrate with Zoom.
