Hello @Dseverinojr,

Zoom’s AI Companion can generate a meeting summary if the feature is enabled, even if there is minimal or no activity. If someone joins a scheduled meeting and the AI Companion is set to automatically generate a summary, it may still create a recap based on the meeting’s metadata, even if no one spoke or participated.

If you want to avoid receiving recaps for meetings without actual activity, you can:

  • Adjust your AI Companion settings to only generate summaries when there is meaningful participation.
  • Manually start the AI Companion summary only when needed, instead of having it start automatically.
  • Review your meeting settings to ensure summaries are only generated for meetings with multiple participants or specific criteria.
