Accessibility of Zoom Events registration forms and hub listings

Hi. We are organising a multi-day summit next March. I want to ensure that people using screen readers or other assistive technology can register for the event, and to also bookmark individual sessions. I am struggling to find any information about the accessibility of the registration form, and navigation of an events hubs.

Any advice on this would be very much appreciated.

Hi @stirantiracism.

I'm currently working with a client that has the same questions, but is also concerned about the over all usability of the Lobby, especially the display area highlighted in red here:

The Up and Down arrows in the Sessions box seem to show as Next and Previous buttons with no real description as to what they're used for.

Zoom claims a certain level of screen reader compatibility in this web page, but based on our limited testing today, the Zoom Events interface is problematic.

I'd like to get a small group of people to test out actual usage of all of these areas.  Please reach out to me if you'd be interested in working on a small group project.

I would also like to know the accessibility of the registration page used on Zoom events, my experience is that it doesn't seem to want to auto-populate form fields, which suggests the form may not be correctly tagged. This would likely be a problem for screen readers.

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @KateMM

We’re not going to be able to get to that level of detail here in the Community. Please consider creating a Support Ticket and ask that it get pushed up to Tier 2 and Engineering for an answer. Then it would be helpful to post the results here. Reach out to me if you need guidance on working with Support.
