I was in a Zoom call on another person's account, so the other person was the host and not myself. I hit record, and the only pop-up window I saw was one that said request the host to accept. The host, I presume, accepted, and we had our meeting. I can't find the recording anywhere. I've looked in the settings Users/Name/Documents/Zoom. I've looked in Finder and there are no MP4 files from today at all. No recording with today's date was shown. I've also tried restarting my computer, and I tried the customer service phone number, which, for some reason, the automated security screening couldn't find my account, so I couldn't talk to someone. This is for a school assignment that we recorded twice already. I really don't want to film again.

Hello @hshelt5-
As you are not the host and you are attempting to record, you will need to confirm with the host if they allowed you to record. As this is a local recording, if you do not have it on your physical device then it is most probable that the host of the meeting did not allow you to record. If they did allow you to record, you should have a recording on your physical device.
Please confirm with the host if they allowed you to record or if they have a cloud recording and we can assist from there.
I hope this helps and please make sure to mark the solution as accepted if this information is what you needed.
Thank you,
Jake
