Unable to join meeting on Mac no error message or password popup "leave meeting" popup when closing

Zoom was working fine on Mac when issue suddenly occurred. I am able to enter the room login and name but no automatic password window popups after I click on "join" (popup not hiding behind other windows) making it such that i am unable to join meeting. The "leave meeting" message then pops up when I quit Zoom. Problem has persisted after deleting and re-downloading.

Ensure that the Zoom app is up to date. If you are using a VPN, disable it and then try using Zoom again. If you are using a security or anti-virus app, ensure that Zoom is not blocked. Restart your Mac and then test Zoom again
