On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Identity/authentication deduplicaiton

My Zoom account currently supports username/password and Google Auth as factors of authentication. However, logging in with Google Auth doesn't actually log me into the super admin Zoom account, and its causing a massive headache.

Here are some issues this causes:

- I'm randomly signed out of Zoom throughout the day -- if I sign in with a different auth than what I booked a meeting as, then I don't count as the host of that meeting

- Zoom support doesn't recognize

- I do not have host permissions in meetings if I sign in with Google Auth but the meetings were booked with UN/PW auth

- I now have some meetings booked with both given I had my Calendly hooked up with one auth method and my GCal connected with another

Does anyone know how to reconcile the auths so they provide the same experience?
