I am the owner of a Pro account since 2023. I had no need to use break-out rooms before. Now that my work requires break-out rooms I cannot find that feature. I’ve tried on my laptop and phone to no avail. I have email support, read articles, chatbot but no success. I have followed all the steps given by chatbot and the article that is: login into my account, go to the left had panel; click account management, click advance, click meetings there no such feature as break-out room under meeting to enable. what could be the problem?
Hello I have an environment with new Audiocodes 445HD deskphones connected to Zoom. Everything is working fine except, when someone presses digits while in a call the digits (touch tones) are not heard/understood on the other end of the phone. So if dialing *86 to get your voicemail you may be asked for your PIN. You press the buttons for your PIN, but the signal is not heard by the voicemail system to access it. If a user dials a bank IVR system, again the touch tones when pressed are not heard. If I dial my cell from the deskphone (while not going through my firewall), I cannot hear the touchtones being pressed on my cell phone end of the call. I have ruled out my Sonicwall as the problem because this model of 445HD has wifi to which I connected it to a mobile hotspot, outside of the firewall. I have been researching this like crazy and cannot figure out what the problem could be.
My profilephoto is installed, shown in zoomsession via website, but not via zoomsession app
I find it very distracting when the camera tracks my face in a meeting and the image of me in the frame appears to move along with my movement. Is this a Zoom problem or an Apple issue (I am running Mac OS Tahoe)? Is there something I can do to keep the screen static? Thanks for your help.
Good morning. Frantic NOOB here. Mistakenly set my H6Essential device to what might be an Asian language and no way to navigate through device to do a factory reset. Anyone out there have the answer?
Zoom Phone becomes dialer option and takes over default dialer option. Permissions for Zoom have not been enabled, but any tap-to-Dial number is redirected to Zoom Phone. How do I remove this feature?
Must resolve this remotely. No on-site audio technician.Zoom Meeting Configuration: Board ‘Meeting Room’ setting, Host / owner is remote. Presenter is a ‘Panelist’ in ‘Meeting Room’ with other people there. Numerous people are off-site listening / viewing, sometimes commenting. Audio configuration in ‘Meeting Room’. Presenter wears a clip mic. There is another mic that picks up comments from those in the meeting room. Sound from both mics go through a mixer and into a dedicated speaker computer and it sends video and audio to Zoom-land. People in the ‘Meeting Room’ are NOT technical. Host is semi-technical.EVERYTHING WORKED FINE FOR MANY MONTHS. Yesterday it tanked. Yesterday: Presenter sounded like he was speaking in a cave. Knew something about changing settings and clicked (bottom left corner) on ‘Audio’ then saw Microphone Mode settings and then turned ON Noise Removal (default). Audio suddenly went back to the way it always was. Sounded great again. Meeting was over and they shut
Hi everyone — I’ve noticed that live transcription works in the main session, but I’m unsure how to set it up so participants can see captions inside breakout rooms. Has anyone successfully enabled live transcription for breakout sessions? What settings or account permissions are required? Thanks in advance!
Hi everyone 👋I’ve recently started hosting larger Zoom meetings (50+ participants) regularly, and I’m running into intermittent screen-sharing problems when more than one person tries to share at once in scheduled sessions. Sometimes the screen stops updating or participants report lag, even though my internet is stable. Before posting here I searched to see if others have asked about this already, but I didn’t find the exact scenario I’m experiencing. I want to make sure I’m following Zoom best practices and not missing a setting that could help. Here’s what I’m doing so far: Enabling “Host only” screen sharing for large webinars. Making sure all participants have the latest Zoom version. Using stable wired internet for my meetings. My questions for the community are: Are there recommended settings in Zoom Meetings (for example, advanced sharing settings or bandwidth options) that improve reliability when many participants join? Does screen sharing work better under a specific la
How does one find one's pin or set a pin number in one's zoom account. The great brains at Zoom have not made this intuitive.
Is Zoom Rooms a service you have to have as part of the pro membership? We have 2 users/admins and do not split anything into separate rooms for small group discussion. Is that what Zoom Rooms is for? We tutor one on one and sometimes use the whiteboard and do share our screen, etc. a lot. Does it cost extra? If it is not a necessary part of the account in our case, is there a way to delete Zoom Rooms? Thanks in advance for your help!Terrie
After our zoom meetings, we send the recorded meeting to our users. However when they enter the secret code, they receive a message of wrong secret code and cannot access the recorded meeting.
I got off the plan that cost $18/month because it had more bells and whistles than I needed and was offered Zoom basic for $7.99/month. I am supposed to get four meetings per month that can go beyond 40 minutes, but in fact all of my meetings are being cut off at 40 minutes. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, have you found a solution besides just giving up on Zoom basic?
I am no longer receiving email summaries from the AI companion. Looks like they are in the chat but not via email. When reviewing the settings I do not see the following setting: (Optional) Select the checkbox next to Include the full summary text in the email sent to users to send the full summary as part of the email to appropriate recipients." Also in AI Companion Managment Summary List the "share" button is not longer enabled. Edit and Delete are enabled and active. Any REAL HUMAN assistance is appreciated! Barry
I love Zoom. It’s the best webinar platform. HOWEVER, there are two features that I absolutely HATE:When I join a meeting, Zoom launches an extremely annoying calendar that I have absolutely no use for. I could ignore it, but I tend to close it because I don’t want it there. This is an extra step that‘s reminds me of when a person sticks a flyer on my car that I have absolutely no interest in: it’s like they’re saying, “Here, you throw this away.” [Mitch Hedberg] After leaving a meeting, ZΩOM KEEPS RUNNING FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON. I don’t want apps running that I’m not using. No other app I use does this. I don’t understand why it’s doing this, other than so that I don’t have to relaunch it next time - BUT I WANT TO BE THE ONE TO DECIDE TO LEAVE IT RUNNING OR NOT.Is there a way to:Make the calendar NOT open when I join a meeting? Make Zoom QUIT COMPLETELY when I leave a meeting?
Hi there,I am hosting a webinar with some vulnerable people as Panelists. I would rather they did NOT see the questions coming in from attendees in the Q&A, as it’s a sensitive subject. I would prefer me, as the host, sees the questions and fields them to the appropriate panelist verbally, for them to answer.I have the Zoom Webinars account, with up to 1,000 attendees.Looking at other support comments and speaking to the Virtual Agent, they suggested two things:“When scheduling or editing your webinar, go to the Q&A section and uncheck Allow panelists to view attendee-submitted questions.” - But this option does not exist. And it suggested I use the Chat function instead - and limit what Panelists can see in the Chat. However, I do not have any option of Chat function either. Thanks - any help much appreciated!
Hi Zoom Developer Community,I’m currently in the process of submitting my app for Beta Testing on the Zoom Marketplace. After completing all mandatory requirements and switching the environment to Production, my app failed the Security and Privacy Compliance Review with the following message:“We noticed your app supports TLS 1.0 & TLS 1.1, which are considered insecure. Please consider ceasing/upgrading these versions.”However, I’ve verified multiple times that:TLS 1.0 and 1.1 are completely disabled on our servers.Only TLS 1.2 and 1.3 are enabled for all inbound and outbound HTTPS traffic. The backend (Node.js / NestJS) runs behind a reverse proxy with strict SSL configuration. We’ve attached full configuration and connection test screenshots in our reply to the Marketplace team as proof, but the review still failed.I’d really appreciate if anyone from the Zoom team or community could help clarify:How does Zoom test or verify TLS protocol versions during app security review?Could the
I hope you’re all doing well. I’m reaching out to get some advice from experienced users and experts here in the Zoom Community. Here’s what I’m experiencing:• Zoom Version: [e.g., 6.xx.x — Desktop/Mobile]• Platform: [Windows / macOS / Android / iOS]• Problem started: [Date or after update]• Description:[Write a clear description of the issue you’re facing — e.g., screen sharing not working, audio issues, meeting settings, etc.]I’ve tried the following troubleshooting steps so far: [Step 1 — e.g., reinstalling Zoom] [Step 2 — e.g., checking audio/video settings] [Step 3 — any logs or error messages] Despite these steps, this issue still persists. HiI have been teaching on zoom for 6 years - and yesterday I found the meeting links were not sent out. I did what I normally do - arrange a meeting, then click send email. No emails went… why could that be? Has anyone else suddenly found this? Thanks
I began receiving this message, "An unknown error has occurred" a month ago when trying to Live stream a Meeting to my Facebook profile. How can I resolve this?
I used to have a Zoom paid account as president of our local photo club, and my Zoom meeting login name was admin.photo club. I transferred this to another committee member, and now use my personal but unpaid Zoom account for logging in to other personal meetings. But my name still comes up as admin.photo club, and I have to change it after logging in, to my real name. How can I get it permanently changed? Thanks, Richard Stern
Hi there, I have a recurring meeting for next 10 weeks. I was alerted by someone trying to register that some of the sessions are greyed out on the registration page. I think this is because it was going over 100 people, so i just paid more to upgrade to 500 people. But when i click on registration, the same sessions are still greyed out. I’ve checked my account and says 500 limit for meetings so seems to have taken effect… Any tips?
Hi folks, We have automatic closed captioning enabled but during zoom meeting the option for CC is not appearing. Is anyone else having these issues recently? Previously we had auto CC enabled but in meeting the option that would show up was for manual CC. I made sure that manual CC was disabled and auto CC enabled, through the web portal. During zoom meeting the option for CC still prompted us to assign someone to manually do CC. I went through this meeting to the settings and noticed that manual CC had somehow been enabled, even though we had just disabled it. After disabling, again, and making sure the auto CC was still enabled, the zoom meeting no longer had the CC option at all. I rebooted Zoom. Signed out and signed back in. Restarted my computer, and the problem persists... Help...
Is it possible to have a second meeting ID for exclusive use with a select client who is looking for this?
When I am in the main meeting, I have audio and video without an issue. However, when assigned to my breakout rooms, I lose the audio stream and cannot hear what is being said. This has happened on a couple of occasions to me. It has also happened where I have audio in the breakout rooms but lose it when re-entering the main meeting. The video stream is intact and clear (i.e. no signs of poor connection). I have tried using my Mac speaker/microphone as well as AirPods Pro, but the issue has not resolved.
