Hi guys,

I'm having a really annoying issues with zoom, that used to work with bluetooth device but is no longer working.

I have the nearby permission enabled, tried to delete all zoom data, uninstall, reinstall... but to no avail.

Is there any possibility to have zoom working with my bluetooth devices? Without this it's totally useless on my android devices.

Thank you!

    Hi hEarthkore,

Thank you for reaching out, and I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you’re experiencing with your Bluetooth device on Zoom, we understand how important this feature is for your meetings.

To help resolve the issue, we recommend trying the following steps:

    1. Check Bluetooth Permissions
Ensure that Zoom has all necessary permissions enabled (including Nearby Devices and Bluetooth) in your Android settings.
    2. Verify Audio Settings in Zoom
While in a meeting, tap on the audio icon and confirm that your Bluetooth device is selected as the active audio output.
    3. Reconnect Your Bluetooth Device
Try unpairing and then re-pairing your Bluetooth device from your Android Bluetooth settings before launching Zoom again.
    4. Update Zoom and System Software
Make sure both your Zoom app and Android OS are updated to the latest versions, as updates often include fixes for connectivity issues.
    5. Test with Another App or Device
This can help determine whether the issue is specific to Zoom or related to the Bluetooth device itself.

If the issue persists after trying these steps, please submit a ticket to support with the following details so we can investigate further:

    • Your Android device model and OS version
    • Zoom app version
    • Type/brand of Bluetooth device

    Best.
