Here are the steps on how to improve your video quality. 

1. Check Camera Settings

   • Open Zoom → Settings → Video.
   • Turn off “Adjust for low light,” or set it to Manual and increase brightness slightly.
   • Make sure HD is enabled if your camera supports it.

2. Clean the Camera Lens

   • Wipe the lens gently with a microfiber cloth. Even a small smudge can cause a hazy or “smoky” look.

3. Disable Filters or Effects

   • Go to Settings → Background & Effects → Studio Effects.
   • Set Video Filter to None and turn off any color or lighting effects.

4. Update Zoom and Camera Drivers

   • Update Zoom to the latest version.
   • On Windows or macOS, update your webcam driver or system software.

5. Check Lighting and Position

   • Use front-facing light (not behind you).
   • Avoid mixed lighting (e.g., daylight + warm lamp).
   • If possible, use a ring light or desk lamp aimed at your face.

6. Test Internet Connection

   • Low bandwidth can reduce video quality.
   • Close other apps using the internet or connect via Ethernet.

1. Prepare the Image

   • Use a clear JPG or PNG file, ideally 1920×1080 resolution.

2. Enable Virtual Background

   • In Zoom, click your profile picture → Settings → Background & Effects.
   • Turn on Virtual Background.
   • Click the “+” icon to upload your chosen image.
   • Select it to apply.
