I am requesting immediate help with two recurring issues that are impacting our meetings. I have already contacted support multiple times, but I have not received a resolution.Issue 1: Unknown third party participant joining our meetingsEvery time my boss and I join a Zoom meeting, a random third party participant joins automatically. It appears as a blank or black tile and shows the name “Netic”. We have disabled AI Companion and auto-recording across our settings, but this participant still joins even after turning those features off. This is a serious security and privacy concern, and we need to understand exactly what this participant is and how to permanently prevent it from joining any meeting.Issue 2: Auto-framing will not stay disabledAuto-framing keeps turning on or staying active even after I disable it. I have turned it off multiple times, signed out and back in, restarted my computer, and followed the troubleshooting steps I was given. The setting still does not stick. At th
Is there a way to add or import someone else's weekly recurring meeting within zoom to my zoom scheduled meetings-so when I click My Meetings it is listed automatically there and I can join right from the zoom interface? Seems like there should be a way within zoom to add a scheduled meeting I always attend but someone else hosts to My Meeting list/ schedule? I'd like to be able to join the meeting directly from the Zoom app without having to look for the link or meeting ID and password. I don't want to use outlook or calendar apps to set reminders etc. Specifically asking if this is possible through Zoom. Thank you.
I would like to disable two factor authentication. I have followed the Advanced, Security, click the toggle, and have received an email today the TFA has been disabled. Yet, when I next went to log-in to Zoom I was asked to enter the TFA code. How do I actually disable TFA please?
The update on Jan 12 changed how zoom meetings links in a chrome browser behaves to open directly in the web app, and it appears there is no option to go back to the old functionality. This would probably be fine if the web app had virtual backgrounds, but it does not. Has anyone found a way around this? Not all of my meetings are in the zoom calendar. https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0066432“Chrome OS users accessing Zoom meeting join links are automatically redirected to the Zoom Web App (ZWA) without displaying an intermediate page. The system recognizes that Chrome OS devices do not support a desktop app and eliminates the unnecessary Launch Meeting step. When ZWA is installed on Chrome OS, the app automatically opens using the meeting link. This streamlined process reduces the number of clicks required to join meetings and provides faster access to Zoom sessions.”
We are holding an event next month that offers attendees a professional development certificate upon completion. For those registered who cannot attend, we would like to offer them the opportunity to watch the recordings of the sessions so they can then receive the certificate. I have been trying to find where you can access the analytics of who views recordings from the LOBBY (not the Zoom web portal), but I'm not able to find this information anywhere. Is there a way of accessing those analytics?
My audio keeps dropping out in the middle of meetings. I quite often have two meetings back to back, the first one this evening was fine, then the audio cuts out during the second then this message appears, "low system audio may affect your audio quality. Try closing down some applications to improve performance" I don't have any other apps running on my laptop, I've closed everything down, I even make sure the cloud isn't backing up in the background. So what could it be???? It's becoming very annoying as I rely on this for my business. Could it be something to do with the Zoom apps? I would appreciate someone getting back to me. Many thanks.
Hi, I have uninstalled Zoom, reinstalled, checked camera settings all are on (But Zoom not showing in the list) including web, allowing it. But no video when I open the app for meetings. I am on Firefox, windows 11. I have cleared cache and restarted multiple times. Had an important meeting today and I was the only one without video. Sad! Does anyone know how to get Zoom to show up on the apps that will be allowed camera access? Thank you.
We are working on a project for a group of students to serve as on-call drivers for times when the department does not have availability. We are looking for a solution for contacting said on call driver. Our students do not have Zoom accounts, and we do not create ‘dummy’ accounts. Other than creating a number and changing the forwarding all the time, is anyone aware of another solution we might utilize?
Folks, When I use the Zoom Outlook Plug-in it auto populates the body of the Calendar invite with my companies info and link, dial numbers, etc. All is good, but if I type a message on the body before clicking the plug-in it pushes my message to the bottom. I can assure it will not be read if not on the top! How can I change so the plug-in populates BELOW my message? Thanks in advanced for your help! LM
How to create a more permanent meeting ID for a meeting that has already been set up with 10 digit meeting code in 2020. This is an AA meeting and the meeting link will show up in an online schedule. It is twice a week and is using the original zoom link established in 2020. Therefore the 50 meeting limit doesn't suffice .
Hello Everyone:I've tried customizing the waiting room but users keep seeing the default zoom screen when they log on.I tested the various options - logo, image, etc. and successfully saved but it's not displaying on the users end. Also restarted the laptop to see if that would help, but it didn't. Signed out of Zoom settings as well, but that did not help either. Everything else I change has taken effect except the waiting room customization.*Pro licenseIs anyone able to assist?
My app version needs to be 5.12.2 or higher to sign in. How do I update my app.?
It's been probably up to one year since I tried to upload my own virtual background for Zoom meetings. It never allows me to do so. It looks like image is uploaded but at the end it doesn't show up in my zoom profile to be picked as preferred option. I tried everything and I'm truly desperate. It seems like such a simple thing and yet it's not working. I found it bit ridiculous. I'm using Zorin OS, which is Linux Ubuntu.
Client is asking when the feature update in Zoom to allow WFM with Read Only access?
I manage multiple call queues and trying to find a way to have a dashboard to monitor volumes, wait times, svc level and who is logged in and out for all queues in 1 location. I went to the Zoom Learning Center and the first lesson tells me to open the Zoom Desktop Client and select the Zoom Contact Center Icon at the top menu. I don't have that icon. I downloaded the most current update and still not there. What am I missing?
When I set up the meeting I selected to record the meeting. I hosted on my android phone using the Zoom app. I can't find the recording. On the app, I don't see a Recordings tab. I have a regular zoom account, I don't pay for any add ons. Help, please!
My account is paid (Business) and I ma in Malaysia. My students in mainland China are still unable to join my meetings and get error 13215. But it was perfectly fine previously. They were able to join my classes. How can I resolve this?
How can I disable the option to include an image in Zoom Events for a multi session event? I don't have images for all of the sessions and dont want to see the blue tubular picture that is automatically used by Zoom Events.
When we schedule a zoom event in our hub and people register, we do not receive any sort of notification. We have the little box checked in our notification settings to receive an email and a zoom notification (in the zoom events hub notification center) when changes are made to the event. Yet, we do not receive any sort of notification. I have had a ticket open for 2.5 weeks with Zoom support, but get no where with their service team. It's frightening that we pay a lot of money and cannot get answers. Any advice on how to receive an email notification when someone registers for an event would be helpful.
I created a paid event in Zoom events. However, it appears that registrants can login to the event from multiple devices. We want to prevent that so that paid registrants cannot share their login credentials to give access to a non-paid registrant. Is this possible?
I am on Ubuntu 24.04.3 and installed zoom with the newest deb package.I can open the zoom workspace and see the regular menus. But when I want to join a meeting the terms of service window pops up. I click on agree and then nothing happens. I also tried to install the snap and the result is the same.I also tried running ubuntu with xorg instead of wayland, also the same result.I couldn't find anything on google and would be happy about some guidelines how to fix this. I can still join meetings via browser at least.
Hello, I'm seeing an issue bringing the Tracking Source Name or Tracking Source URL into the Zoom trigger in Zapier, though it is showing my test source on the Zoom side. Any ideas as to how we can get the tracked source logged in Zoom to flow thru to Zapier? It looks like Zapier acknowledges that it is a value, it's just not populating Thank you!.
Recently, we have discovered that webinars created through Webinar Plus are not triggering the registration_created webhook. However, the regular webinars do. Any suggestions about this failure? Do we need to set up an additional scope or feature to enable this webhook?
Two questions:1. When I download an attendee list from our meeting in Zoom Events, it has many who are listed as absent in the lobby plus the join and exit times are blank, and the video watch time is also blank. Why are they listed if they didn't actually attend? 2. We also seem to have a lot of people who join the lobby but never join the meeting...is that a design issue? Perhaps it should take them directly into the event when it starts if they joined the lobby?
Hi Zoom Developer Community,We are developing a medical seminar platform that integrates with Zoom. Previously, we used the **Zoom Webinar API** (`POST /v2/webinars/{webinarId}/registrants`) to register users programmatically. This worked great - users could register with one click, and Zoom automatically sent confirmation emails with join links.Recently, we started using **Zoom Events (Webinar Plus)** for our seminars. We discovered that the standard Webinar API doesn't work with Zoom Events and returns error code 3000:{"code": 3000, "message": "Registration has not been enabled for this webinar: xxxxx"}We then tried the **Zoom Events Tickets API** (`POST /v2/zoom_events/events/{eventId}/tickets`), which successfully creates tickets. However, we found that **confirmation emails are not automatically sent** when using this API.## Our QuestionIs there any way to achieve the following with Zoom Events via API?1. Register a user programmatically (one-click registration from our platform)2
