HelloSince I have my new computer with windows 11, the setting "original sound for musicians" in zooms does not work anymore. In detail, we can hear each other speak but the music sounds seem to be submitted by my laptop. Despite that I have the mode "original sound for musicians" switched on, my music teacher cannot hear me play. I read that some others experienced the same problem but none of the suggested trouble shootings helped so far. Interestingly, with Skype the sound is worse in general, but the music is transmitted, so I would not suspect a problem with my laptop in general but rather problem between zoom and windows 11....Anyone who can help with that?Best and grateful for any input!Josefine
Hi Everyone, Recently zoom workplace app doesn't work on My Macbook. (It works well last year)It shows cannot sign in on the app however I can log in on the zoom website. It is also fail when I tried to join a meeting by using zoom app. I can join a meeting on the zoom website. My environment is MacOS Ventura version: 13.7.4Zoom app version: 6.3.10 (49367)Anyone knows how to fix it?Thanks!
When I use my Logitech Brio webcam in Zoom on my laptop (Dell Vostro 5502 - Windows 10), and I am wearing a striped or patterned shirt, the shirt appears to be moving or vibrating - see attachments, I know it sounds weird, but it is very distracting to everyone on the Zoom session. It does not happen with my Logitech 920 on another computer. It does not happen on my iPad. And it does not happen in the laptop camera app. I have manipulated every video setting in Zoom, to no avail. I have spoken with tech support from Logitech and Dell. I followed every suggestion they had, to no avail. No one has any idea. Does this happen to anyone else? Do you have a suggestion that I can try? Thanks very much.
Got the error"Zoom - Schedule MeetingYou cannot edit this meeting to add continuous meeting chat capability as the meeting requires registration." This is a major FLAW, feature limitation, BUG in Zoom. The logic should be simple:Anyone who registers to the Zoom meeting and then is admitted by the Host, should be automatically added to the continuous meeting chat.By forcing the account owner to choose between continuous meeting chat and meeting registration, the options become:1. Disable Meeting Registration, which then makes it hard to ban repeat offending users as we don't have their email.2. Enable Meeting Registration, disabling continuous meeting chat, forcing us to use whatsapp or another group messaging app. Both options are unacceptable. We need meeting registration to work hand in hand with continuous meeting chat, thereby limiting the need for additional software.

I want to increase teh number of participants on one page from 25 to 49. How do I do that?
Dear Zoom Community,Good day! We would like to ask for a consultation regarding our Zoom Room setup. For context, we are trying to eliminate or at least minimize cross-talking (a ducking effect) when far-end and local audio are talking simultaneously. The actual scenario is that the local audio is being suppressed when the far-end and local will talk at the same time (being observed with a third party who is listening for both local and far-end speakers). This audio experience is present when using two distinct DSPs; we remove the audio processing in the microphone and DSP (AEC, AGC EQ, etc.), along with the removal of poly’s “noiseblock ai” to isolate which device is processing the ducking/suppression and we felt like there is processing happening in Zoom Room even though we disable (‘off’) noise suppression. In the article I read, there is a note there saying “there is a basic noise suppression feature in the background that cannot be disabled.” Is there a way we can set this sett
Is there any way to get an itemized report of breakout rooms and each room's participants? I searched for this topic and found this thread, but it's from last year and I want to know if this has changed. If not, has anyone found any workarounds to this? This is for a speed matching-type event, so keeping track of breakout room participants is key. Thank you, Robert
I recently tried to have a meeting and when I joined, the host couldn't hear me and I couldn't hear him. I tried every fix I could come up with in the short time before we gave up. I tested the audio devices in the app and they worked. I checked permissions and whether my audio was turned up. I looked to see if either of us were muted in the app and there was no indication of that. I restarted my computer. I re-installed zoom. I used the browser instead of the app. I used a different computer. I used my phone. I used multiple audio devices on each of the computer/phones I used. And I've used each of those devices for a hundred or more zoom meetings before this so I know my computer can handle it. And the host has regularly used zoom to record meetings as well and said he'd never encountered this problem. What else was there I could do?
Just had a very strange and show-stopping bug in Zoom Webinar.Summary: Screen sharing refused to share audio playback, even when "share audio" was absolutely checked. Details: In practice session, checked screenshare to make sure tech was set. Played fullscreen video on second monitor through VLC. Shared full second monitor, not application. Zoom settings from the web portal included the new "Enable HD video for screen shared video." Both checkboxes from the screen share menu were checked - share audio and optimize for video clip. Everything worked fine, video looked and sounded good to the other panelists. We took a break for 10 minutes until we were ready to broadcast, and I ended the screenshare. After a 5 minute intro, I popped up screenshare, made sure boxes were checked, and started the video. We immediately started getting comments that nobody could hear audio. I checked the zoom share menu, and the little speaker icon that means "audio is being shared" was checked. I stopp
Hey there! My company just recently changed phone systems to Zoom phone. With our previous carrier, we were able to use a soft phone on the computer and type in a phone number/menu option with the physical keyboard, and by copying and pasting/clearing numbers into the keypad dial. This was very useful because while working in Healthcare, a lot of insurance companies request ID numbers for our providers, like their Tax ID, NPI, or a patient's member ID. Is there a way to provide this feedback to the development team? It's my first post, so I'm not sure if you can like or upvote, but if you can please do if you agree! Best, Deb
I posed a problem last week. I received an email saying that I got a solution, but how do I get to the solution?
I cannot connect to Zoom on my iPad Air Gen 5. When I start the app does not show the normal start up screen with New Meeting, Join, Schedule and Share Screen. When I try to sign in I recite every the message “Cannot sign in, please check your network connection.” I have reset my iPad and uninstalled/reinstalled the Zoom Client app with no success. I noticed the Zoom app is not listed under iOS settings under Privacy Microphone or Camera so I cannot give access to them for Zoom. Zoom works fine on my iPhone 13 Max Pro and Zoom shows under its Settings for Microphone and Camera. Is Zoom not installing properly?
I jus signed up to try zoom to see if it's any better than Vonage. Oh my, the setup is way more complex than it needs to be. Ok I made my first call using zoom app on my iPHone, after 18 min call dropped. Now can't make any calls, "call failed" and once I did see "account inactive code 1301403". Support person didn't have too much of a clue, I told her of the issues I had with initial setup with assigning a package, and generating a number, etc etc.. and she asked me to re-assign the packages to the user account, then I couldn't add the number back after I un-binded it. I was able to figure out on my own I had to remove it from being some company number of something.. this thing is like a whole PBX setup.. crazy for an end user VOIP system. Anyway, after re-assigning packages, reinstalling iPhone zoom app etc etc, still doesn't work same error. Support escalated my case waiting for response, but thought I would come here for any suggestions.&nb
Hi everyone, Does anyone know the maximum Zoom Events event duration. I do not mean the maximum amount of time of a meeting or webinar session. I mean the maximum of the entire event. Our company was thinking of doing a month long event but we were not sure if that was possible. We will only have one or two sessions each day. The longest event I have done so far is 3 days so I was not sure and I cannot find it in the documentation. Thanks for any help you can provide. Andrew
I keep receiving an error message that it won't send through. The international texting has been enabled with all countries selected. How do I get it to successfully send?
My Zoom plan is workspace pro. The host is on a laptop connected to a large screen so everyone in the room can see what is being presented. I join the meeting with an Android and I we are on speaker mode. The visual from my camera is very clear on the laptop yet very fuzzy on the large screen. I have turned on HD video on my Zoom account, and played with settings on the laptop, the screen, and my phone. What else can you all suggest?
Hi! Since 6.4.10.2027, and still on 6.4.13.2309, settings' screens are broken on the layout: they show half the settings like shown at https://pasteboard.co/eP6kL7lnJKmp.png
I have a question for the community regarding viewing charged calls only since I am currently on a metered plan. When I go to the Administration section: click on Phone System Management - Logs and once the Logs window opens in the "New View Version " how do I find the "Show charged call logs only"? Because when I choose the Classic View Version, I can see the check box for "Show charged calls only" at the bottom. So, on the " New View Version" what are the steps to get to the" show charged call logs only"? Right now, I go right away to the classic view page but if and when it is terminated I will be out of luck which is frustrating! Thanks guys!
"report/webinars/#{zoom_api_uuid}/participants?include_fields=registrant_id", account_id: zoom_account_id We are taking leave_time only if id is present in the participants response.for few users we are getting participant_user_id and id. But for few users we are not getting. Help us to understand what is the reason.
New to Zoom...Was setting up a 1:1 meeting. The participants name did not show up in the participants panel. It showed up as "Admin". I was the Host. Not sure why the Participant showed up as "Admin". Please advise. Thank you
I've been using the official Linux client of Zoom for a while on Fedora and one the most frustrating things is the misalignment of the reactions popup when the chat window is docked to the main meeting window. It always centers over the edge which often times makes the right most emojis cut off the screen. I have to drag the window leftward in order to display them all. It would be ideal if this popup always remained inside the chat window so it never expands beyond the window. Is this possible?Zoom Version: 6.5.0 (2465) RPM package downloaded directly from zoom.com (not Flatpak)Fedora 42Kernel 6.14.11-300.fc42.x86_64Gnome 48.2Wayland Window Manager
I hold weekly office hours in Zoom, ranging from 60 to 90 minutes. They are drop-in sessions. Today two students dropped in right at the start, talked with me for about 5 minutes, and then exited. There were 55 minutes left in the session. But because of this feature, the session automatically ended after 40 minutes and I wasn't able to re-start the session. The result is that if any students wanted to join me toward the end of the session, they can't. This is a ridiculous feature. Please fix it.
I need to know if there is a security setting whereby if I, the host, lose my internet connection, that the participants in my meeting are disabled from interacting with one another or completely removed from the meeting. I have read other posts dating back to 2023 on this topic but there doesn't seem to be an answer. This is deeply concerning to me for the work that I do.
I’m having an issue when phone registered Avaya J179 phones with Zoom Phone. Everything seems to provision correctly in the admin portal and I’ve assigned the proper licenses, but every time the phone boots it displays: The phone is not licensed in zoom This message persists until the “OK” button is pressed. After that, the phone behaves normally. It doesn't affect calls or features immediately after, but it's persistent and disruptive to users.Questions:Is there a known prerequisite or license type (e.g. Avaya license, Zoom “device license” vs Zoom Phone user license) that might be missing?Has anyone resolved this “not licensed” boot message for Avaya desk phones? Thanks in advance!
