Posting here because this stupid company only offers customer support to paying customers which is f***ing ridiculous. I paid $120 dollars for a lesson that I wanted to record to watch back later. When I was in the meeting I hit record, the organizer was sharing their screen and I saw them click accept. So I figured it was recording. But apparently, Zoom thought it was a good idea to make you have to click record again which makes no f***ing sense. I checked my account and the recording isn't there. I know for a fact Zoom is storing these meetings somewhere within their own cloud even though it won't be in my account. Does anyone know how I can contact them to request the recording even though I'm on a free account?
This has happened several times to me, but only under the following circumstances. I am on a one-to-one call; I am not the organizer of the call.I am using Zoom Workplace. I connect from my Mac Mini and I am running OS Sonoma 14.4.1.I am using an external microphone and my internal speakers. During the call my external microphone will turn off because my iPhone 15 pro max has grabbed the setting.I have had the iPhone ask me if I want to connect and I have always answered disconnect. It still grabs the microphone, and when it does, I can't be heard by the organizer. I have finally had to turn OFF my iPhone during these calls. I'm sure it's a setting but I am not sure whether it's on the Mac Mini or my iPhone. Also, so far, this is the only meeting where I have had this problem. Does anyone know what the solution is?
How can I turn off the audible notification when I activate/deactivate mute during a video meeting (i.e. "mute on" / "mute off")?
Hi, I have just installed my laptop with Ubuntu 24.04 LTS (with Cinnamon desktop) and when I start the zoom app (6.3.6 version) the all sections in the header are stuck. It's not able to access to the chats either. Only the settings menu is able to access. The Calendar/Events is showing the message "Loading your sidebar". I login using SSO without problems. It works fine with Ubuntu 22.04 but not in Ubuntu 24.04. This seems not to be the problem. I did remove my office365 account in my profile in the zoom website, but the issue is still happening. I have had to downgrade the zoom version to 6.2.3 (2056) and I'm able to access to the chats and calls sections at least, but the main issue is not solved. I'm still not able to access to the calendar/events, mail, whiteboards,... I always get the message "Loading whiteboards", "Loading Apps", "Loading your Mail",..... Could someone help me, please?. After the most recent update, I had a user who was asking why we could no longer schedule in 15-minute increments. It seems we can only schedule in 30 minute increments.(i.e. cannot choose 8:15 or 8:45 start time while scheduling a meeting. It must be 8:00 or 8:30). We can't even type in a time manually. We must choose a time Is there any way to address this? Has the "minimum increment" become a setting or something?

I set up a meeting with a PowerPoint presentation and used the feature to put the speaker on the screen (the floating head) with the presentation. I want to be able to have other joining speakers populate when they are speaking, or start and stay on the screen with the presentation from the beginning. I don't want to spotlight them. Is this possible in the meeting setting?
Hey there, I've been using Zoom for recording podcast interviews, saved locally. My main work computer, which I have been using for all my podcasting activity, freezes occasionally, usually right after I log in. It's a long story and not a huge problem - certainly not worth clearing my hard drive and reinstalling everything - but it does mean that it's possible that it freezes while I'm in the middle of recording an interview. My question: What actually happens to my recording if the computer freezes? Is it gone forever? Is there anything I can do to back them up so I will have something to convert even if my computer freezes or crashes? Grateful for any tips - thanksIan
Hi, I have configured various accounts and found that one had almost all data centers opted-in, another was missing a few, and another had only two data centers opted-in. I don't know the reason for the difference, whether it was configured in the past, or because it was previously a free account. May I ask, assuming the user has never changed the setting, are all data centers opted-in by default on paid accounts? This is important because I have seen a user connected to a data center on the other side of the globe, which could have been the reason for two disconnections during an important meeting. I schedule several different types of meetings - some that we want participants to chat with everyone and some where we want participants to only chat with the host/co-host. It would be helpful to edit this setting for meetings as they're scheduled rather than the current options of a.) changing the global setting every time I need to schedule a meeting or b.) changing the setting after the meeting starts. Is there really no workaround for this?

My Zoom version is 6.6.2 (65462). During meetings, the field of view (FoV) and zoom settings reset to their default values mid-call, without any input from me. This happens intermittently but consistently enough to be disruptive. I use Logi Tune on my Mac to set and maintain the desired FoV/zoom, and the application remains open throughout the meeting. Hey All, I am experiencing a weird issue, and I can't for the life of me track down what is going on. Some brief background: I have a Juniper SRX340 running JUNOS 23.4R2I join my meeting via my Mac which is a 2023 M3 Pro with 36GB of RAMFrom my Juniper SRX I connect to 2 Arista 7280's in an MLAG setup, which feeds my Arista 720 and Arista C330 AP'sI am joining all my meeting via Wifi - where my recent speed/bufferbloat test show nearly 1Gbps symetrical and A+ rating for no bufferbloat. Symptoms: During my Zoom meetings calls will typically start relatively normal. At some point during the call, but always within the first 30 minutes, I will start to hear choppy audio and frozen video and I get the message "Your Internet Connection is Unstable". This morning, I recorded a very important conference, and while I was converting the file, AVAST blocked the process for suspected fraudulent activity from ZOOM on my computer. So all I have now is the beginning of the file that was converted (about 115 Mo out of a total of 482) The strorage vas made on my computer Mac Book Air and I looked everywhere for the orignal recording before the aborted file conversion, including in the trash but I cannot find it anywhere. Any hints as to where it could be? Does ZOOM keep a record of recordings somewhere for a limited time ? This happened yesterday Tuesday at 2pm Atlantic time. Hi everyone! Well... The title pretty much explains everything! Thing is, I'm aBasisc / Non-Paying Customer, and can't ask this to the bot thingy... 🤨🫤😶 So... I'm looking for any HUMAN here to help... If you guys have been through the same problem. In the cell/ tablet app: There's this collapsible tab on the lower left side where you can turn on the volume to share the sound when you're on the "Share Screen" option. That works just fine when I want to share stuff on YouTube. But if I want to share the audio while on any given page while on a browser, like Chrome, then that feature doesn't work. If anyone has any ideas on that, I'd be eternally grateful! I've tried to explain this to the bot but it just kind of 'short circuit' (in a non-literal) way... And Basic Customers don't get to talk to humans if we need help... 🫤🥺😶 so... that's why I'm here... Can anyone help, please?

The 11th Judicial Circuit of Florida is the nation's 3rd largest Judicial Circuit and it is currently using Zoom as its' platform of choice for Court hearings since the pandemic broke out. You all have been a great asset not just to the state of Florida but to its' citizens. I'm hoping this discussion sheds light and hopefully fixes a limitation we are experiencing with the interpretation system in zoom.As you can imagine, here in South Florida we have heavy demand of language interpretation services from the courts. Currently, our staff have to instruct all attendees needing interpretation through a 4 button selection process in order to get them to the proper channel so they can hear the SpanishCreole language channel. This is highly disruptive to the court case and even if taken aside (breakout room) it is still requiring extra time and effort from court staff. It would be highly beneficial to the citizens of Florida if the court staff (Host, Co-Host and/or the Assigned Interpreter)

im trying to configure zoom but none of the microphones work on my win11 hp, it keeps opening microphone settings, but zoom is not listed in microphone settings. i cant join or host any zoom meetings where my microphone will work. how do i fix this, or get my microphone to work on zoom, it works on other apps just fine.

I use Zoom to teach senior fitness classes. I use my MacBook for the camera and mic and I hook it up with an HDMI cord to my big screen tv so I can see a larger screen. Then, when I play music with Spotify on. my laptop, the sound comes through my tv and my participants can hear me talk and the music as well. All of a sudden, they can hear me, but NO music at all! So I decided to play music with my phone sitting next to the laptop, and they couldn't hear that either. But they can still hear ME loud and clear! Finally, I took my phone, playing the music as loud as possible with me and put it next to my mouth. When I talked, they could hear me, but no music. What the heck?? Can Zoom possibly be able to filter out any music and just allow voices on audio to be heard by participants?????
Good morning.I've just bought "Large rooms - 1000" and tomorrow I'm having an event for 900 participants. I've read that I'll only be able to allocate 200 in the breakout rooms, how do I change that option? I want to create 50 breakout rooms with 18 participants in each.Thank you very much.
