Can’t figure out how to set a recurring meeting properly

Hey everyone

I’m setting up recurring meetings for my small team on Zoom, but the schedule sometimes resets or disappears after a few edits.

I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong in the “recurrence” settings or if it’s a syncing issue with my calendar.

Has anyone faced this before? Would love to know how you fixed it.

Thanks in advance!

The simplest solution is to schedule a recurring meeting with "no fixed time". You can then schedule the meeting at any time by simply sending an email to participants with the meeing info and the date and time you want to meet.

If this works please click accept as a solution.

Hello Community Champion | Customer,

Can I ask you for help with this issue?

I created a recurring meeting Zoom link with "no fixed time" to invite a cohort in a program to several sessions throughout the year at different times and dates (not the same day every month or the same hour of the day).

I sent out an invite in Google Calendar invite, and I added the recurring link in the "location" area of the invite.

Either Google Calendar or Zoom, then turned this into a one-time event.

I tried to edit the "series" and chose "no fixed time," but that option was unavailable.

Was the mistake I made that I added the Zoom link into the "location" area of Google Calendar - should I have only added the recurring link into the description area of the invite?

I'm super bummed out because so much communication was sent about this one link they could reuse for every meeting.
