Is anyone else running into issues after installing Zoom Workplace? We've installed it on a couple of workstations but after they login to Zoom and try to run a session, the session window pops up then goes away never starting the zoom meeting. We're then having to uninstall Zoom Workplace and installing an previous version to run our Zoom Meetings. Reported this to Tech Support and waiting on a solution, any information is greatly appreciated.
I have my google calendar synced with zoom but for some reason every time I get the cloud recording it says google calendar meeting (not synced). I have all the settings turned on and can see that everything is synced I dont understand why it won't pull the naming convention when it sends me the recording?
There is a kind of "hint" message that displays along the upper corner of the application window, which is impeding upon my ability to work. the message displayed, "Drag to desktop 2 to share" is obstructing my view. I have a 4-monitor screen set-up, and (while hosting) I'm sharing all windows from a particular application. The application I've chose to share has multiple windows across all four monitor screens. I understand to "Share all windows from an application" means I'm required to determine which one of my four monitors will be used to share any windows associated with this app. I've chose to use "Desktop 2." Although Zoom doesn't allow me to share multiple monitor screens at once (which I would certainly prefer over sharing multiple app windows in a single screen, since squeezing my 4-monitor workflow into a single monitor is not conducive for displaying my productivity "live" so to speak), I do still appreciate that Zoom allows me
Hi! We're hoping for some advice/best practices- anything would be great. Situation:1. We have a webinar scheduled for "date a" with 100+ registrants. 2. We need to reschedule this webinar to "date b". 3. All registrants have already received an email confirmation with the information for "date a" and they need to be updated with an email for "date b". What is the best way to handle this? If we change the webinar date, will registrants be notified and/or can we control the email that they receive? Would love recommendations, we can't seem to find any info on this. Thanks!

Looking for some guidance or best practices on rescheduling a recurring webinar when attendees have already added it to their calendars.Situation:We created a recurring Zoom webinar (even though the sessions weren’t happening at regular intervals) so registrants could sign up once for both sessions.The first webinar has already taken place.The second webinar was originally scheduled for 13 November.We needed to move the second session to 20 November, so we edited just that occurrence in Zoom, we did not create a new webinar.Registrants already received the automatic Zoom confirmation email for 13 November, including the auto-generated calendar invite link.After changing the date, the Zoom calendar entry on attendees’ calendars did not update, they still have the original 13 November date.When we resend the confirmation email, attendees do not get a calendar request they can “Accept” to update the date, they only get the ICS link again, which doesn’t overwrite the existing cal
Help! During our AA meetings we allow emojis in the reactions, and it's mildly distracting but fine. Now they float up the screen, and the only answer is to turn off reactions. This would piss people off. It appears that you can limit reactions in webinars. I suspect Zoom did this on purpose to force people to upgrade. But our meering ID numbers is years old, and I don't know if making it a webinar would look different. My concern is unmuting. Once the meeting is going, we allow people to unmute themselves. Is that true if we upgrade to webinar? Can we retain our meeting ID number? Help PLEASE!
Everyone in our company has just noticed that all recordings (saved to the Zoom cloud) are now only 640x360. Why? My friend tried with their work account and it is doing the same thing. Only saves as 640x360. This used to be much higher resolution. What happened?
Hello Everyone, I host events for different clients with over 50 people, and in these events, I regularly use breakout rooms to facilitate different conversations to be held within the zoom meeting. More often than not I want to pre-assign these people to these breakout rooms. However, I do not seem to be able to pre-assign multiple sets of rooms in advance. For instance, I host an event which contains multiple rounds of workshops, and people can sign in for specific workshops before the meeting. I can only pre-assign the first round of workshops with the people that were signed in for those workshops. Workshop rounds 2 and 3 will then either require me as host to assign all people manually myself to the new rooms which costs a lot of time, or require the participants to select the correct workshop room by themselves. Hi! I have an opportunity to try a older USB headset device, the Plantronics Blackwire C720-M. For example, in meetings at Zoom. I use a laptop with Windows 10. In the article ”Supported USB HID devices for the Zoom desktop client”, under Poly, there is a list of supported HID devices made by Poly where, among others, the “Blackwire 7225” is listed.The Plantronics Blackwire C720-M, which is from 2013, when the company was named Plantronics & Polycom, is not listed. On the other hand, in the article, under “Limitations”, it also says: “Supported USB audio devices on Windows are not limited to this list. Generally, the Zoom desktop client on Windows supports buttons for devices made by these manufacturers: AVer, Crestron, Jabra, Logitech, Plantronics, Polycom, Shure, Yamaha, and Yealink.”. Taking the above into account (for example the mentioning under “Limitations” of both Plantronics and Polycom) it makes me a bit uncertain when it comes to the Plantronics
HelloAny time I create an event in google calendar using the zoom add-on to add a zoom meeting the attendees will get the initial invitation and then immediately an updated invitation. It says:This event has been updatedChanged: conferencing, description Also when I create events for someone else's calendar the invitation comes from them the update comes from me Is there a way to stop the updated invitation from being sent? I would like to avoid generating duplicate emails for one event. None of these are practical as a long-term solution:If I create the event in zoom it does not happenIf I create the event first in google calendar with the zoom meeting and then separately add participants it does not happen( this does not work when creating the event on another's calendar)
I have downloaded the latest version of Zoom and followed all the steps to connect my Google Calendar, but it does not actually connect. I have the basic plan, is this not an option?
We scheduled a meeting a few weeks ago and generated a link from the invitation, which was then sent to a large group of participants. Unfortunately, now when trying to access the link, an error message appears stating that the meeting ID is incorrect… a disaster! Is there any way to correct a meeting ID?
Hi, I ran into the following problem yesterday. Despite having the options toggled (Settings -> Recording -> (x) Record video during screen sharing -> (x) Place video next to the shared screen in the recording), my recordings did not have the camera view. Trying to understand what happened, I have found that Zoom adds the camera view to recording only under certain conditions:If I select RECORD, then SHARE, then Screen 1 (Entire Screen), it does not add the camera view on the recordings.If I select RECORD, then SHARE, then Powerpoint (Application windows), it does add the camera view on the recordings.I am able to reproduce this behaviour consistently. Thus it appears that the reason why the camera view is missing on the recordings from yesterday was because I shared my entire screen and not the Powerpoint application. Why is this the case? I recently downgraded my Zoom plan from Zoom Pro to Zoom Basic Plus and had a frustrating experience when my meeting abruptly ended after 40 minutes. I couldn't find any clear instructions on Zoom’s website, there was no way to contact support, and I couldn't locate any helpful posts on the topic. Today, while hosting a meeting, I figured out how to extend the meeting time on my own and would like to share the method. 1. There is a common misconception that the extension button appears as soon as the meeting starts. This is incorrect. In my case, the button only became active about 20 minutes into the meeting.2. The extension button appears at the top right corner of the Zoom meeting window. It is located just to the left of the buttons used to maximize or close the window.3. The extension button is not visible unless you move your mouse to that location.I hope this information is helpful to other Zoom Basic Plus users. on the basic plus plan, can you use 2 extensions in the same meeting For example, if you want a same meeting to go 100 minutes, 40 minutes + 40 min extension + another 40 min extension can be used?
I am trying to gather consolidated data about clip viewing statistics; how many views, how many unique viewers, and completion rates - in a bulk format. Is there any way to pull this data besides going into each individual clip and viewing the statistics tab?
hi Zoomies. I didn't see a topic area for AIEA, so i am posting here in ZVA. I am setting up a simple chat flow and queue as a customer entry point for general inquires. The queue will have the Expert Assist enabled (KB and NBA). Since you can only have one AIEA instance assigned to a queue. AND, since each AIEA can only have one Intent Group. (I think) Then, if your queue is for general inquiries, won't your Intent Group have to be very broad (and possibly large). I'm hoping someone can tell me I'm missing something. In a perfect world, it would be nice if I could assign multiple Intent Groups.
We have the automated translated captions add-on and it works pretty well. Even on the recording, you can choose from a long list of languages for translation of the recording. Now I'd like to grab transcripts of a few different languages but I only can see the original language (Spanish). If I watch the recording, I can see the transcript being played in any language along with the recording, but how can I download the transcript in a language other than the original?

In my organization, we’ve observed that several users are experiencing issues with the background blur feature in the latest Zoom client versions (6.5.6 and above). Specifically, the blur function fails to activate and, in some cases, causes the application to freeze. we addressed this by rolling affected users back to version 6.5.1, which appears to resolve the issue. To further investigate, I installed version 6.5.7 from the official Zoom website and tested the blur background feature. Unfortunately, the application froze during the attempt, and the background did not blur.
Tried resizing, adjusting width and height but nothing that is done will fix the problem with Zoom adding space above and below the photo. How do I get rid of the extra space Zoom puts above and below profile picture?
Smart Chapters are not smart. I had hoped they would generate based on the meeting's agenda headings, but that does not appear to be the case. Seriously, what is the point of having chapters if they do not actually align with the meeting's agenda? Am I just not seeing a way to sync meeting chapters to agenda headings? Or, at the very least, a way to predefine chapters? If "Smart" chapters don't align to the actual topics discussed (aka the topics listed in the agenda) then they really don't serve a purpose IMHO.
Hello, I’m a student using Zoom on my tab (Infinix XPAD 20) with android 15. After finishing one meeting, my audio completely disappears in the next meeting. Reinstalling Zoom temporarily fixes it, but it fails again immediately after the next meeting. It worked fine for the first two days after installation, but this started right after a system update. What I’ve tried so far: Force-closing ZoomRestarting the deviceClearing cache / offloading appReinstalling appJoining a test meeting before classes Zoom version: 6.5.12.33008 This issue makes it impossible to attend back-to-back classes. Please help or advise if there’s a workaround for mobile devices. Thank you!
