I have a corporate licence - I'm an ordinary user. I need to log into meetings from my corporate device so I can share screens and show documents but I would also like to be able to log in simultaneously from my tablet so I can draw diagrams with the pen because the corporate laptop has no touchscreen/pen. This is simple to do in Google Chat but some meetings are in Zoom and, in Zoom, when I try to log into my tablet I am logged out from my laptop. Is there a way to do this?
Hi - We are currently in a Zoom meeting, via our YeaLink device, that was set up and administered by someone else. When we carried out a test the camera came on and we could hear the others. When we joined the meeting, the camera was on and we could hear everyone else. Suddenly the camera went off and we could not turn it back on. We can still hear everyone. Can anyone advise me what to do to turn the camera back on without leaving the meeting? Thanks
I recorded my zoom podcast and all went well, including starting/stopping recording to the Zoom Cloud. However, after the podcast, I wanted to do an intro to the podcast after my guest had left. He left the room. I then pressed Record to the Cloud and did an additional :60 recording (without having left the original meeting). I then left the Zoom room. A bit later, i got the email saying my meeting recording was available. All was good with the original but I can't find any evidence of the second recording, either in local or Cloud files. Does Zoom not actually save added recordings? I'd wonder if this is a specific use case anomaly, but I can't imagine I"m the only one to want to try to record something after stopping the original. Thanks!
It appears to be a client app that doesn't have an in-app setting?
Hello, in the rest of the world the first day of the week is monday. How do I change that in the calendar when scheduling a meeting
Should be simple solution. During a structured Zoom meeting, physical attendees number approximately 30. Joined by Zoom attendees (approx. 10). The Zoom attendees have trouble hearing what some of physical attendees are saying where the physical attendee might be about 15-20 feet away from the computer being used to Host the Zoom meeting. Room size is about 75' by 30'. Is there a practical answer without asking physical attendees to keep step closer to the laptop being used and also not having wires running to microphones (ie running on blue tooth). Thank you.
Is it possible to see how many people have viewed my meeting recording? than
I am trying to set up meetings and the pop-up calendar weeks start on Sundays. My brain is having trouble translating it and I am concerned about sending mistaken dates to guests. Anyone know if there is a option under settings for this? I can't find it in the usual places. I searched the web/reddit/quora and can't find an answer to this one.
Hello, I'm trying to disable two-step verification, but nothing I do seems to work.I followed the steps below to enable and disable it:- Log in to the Zoom web portal as an administrator.- In the navigation menu, click Advanced, then Security.- Under Security, click the Sign in with two-step verification toggle to enable or disable it.It's disabled, but Zoom still asks for the second code when I log in, the second step of the verification.
Hi,I have a personal Zoom account (Basic/free plan) and I’m the only user—there’s no admin or organization involved. Until this morning, everything worked fine, but now my meeting participants can’t join any meetings, even when I start a new meeting and share the correct Meeting ID and passcode. Here’s what I’ve tried so far:Scheduling new meetings (not using my Personal Meeting ID)Double-checking the Meeting ID and passcodeMaking sure the waiting room is off and no restrictions are setHaving participants try different devices and networksChecking my account status and settingsDespite all this, participants still get errors and can’t join. I don’t see any alerts or issues on my Zoom profile, and I don’t have access to direct Zoom Support as a Basic user.Is there anything else I can do to fix this, or could there be an issue with my account after downgrading from Pro to Basic? Any help would be appreciated!Thank you!
We have a workflow for a client where custom registration questions have been setup for their Zoom meetings. The client would like a couple of conditional questions to help filter out unwanted registrations. For example the following: ---Conditional question 1- Yes- No Conditional question 2 (only visible if previous answer is no)- Yes- No Block of text (only visible if both previous answers are no)Text explaining that the user should not register for the meeting. (ideally submission would also be disabled)--- I have looked through the Zoom documentation and far as I can tell this is not possible: https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0063516#h_032cddce-aea5-4486-be5d-2a8d9bf0e805 However I wanted to check before definitively ruling this out.
Hey y'all! I am using Zoom Events for the first time and I really like the UI and setup. However, I cannot find how to enable the ability to copy or save chat messages. The Save Chat menu option is disabled when in the webinar, and it's not there in the chat options when I click the three dots or in More under participants. In my personal Zoom account, copying and saving chat messages is enabled, but I've gone through all the settings in Zoom events and can't find it. Am I missing something? Where would it be? Please help!
Hey Guys, I like the auto call feature when you have a Zoom meeting scheduled let's say at 6:00pm. At 6Pm Zoom gives you an auto phone call, and when you answer the call, there is a pop up to join your Zoom meeting. However when a client uses Zoom scheduler to book a Zoom phone call, the call gets booked and plugged into my schedule, but at the time of the phone call appointment, there is no auto call, and only a Zoom desktop pop up appears. Anyone know if this auto call feature would work for a scheduled Zoom call?
Hi there, I've got this kind of issue. When I switch between gallery, speaker and standard modes in a video meeting, two of them randomly freeze and become unresponsive. I can still use the third one but I can't even predict which. Tried unchecking all the hardware acceleration modes boxes, tried reinstalling, installing 32 bit instead of 64, doesn't work. I'm using a PC, video card is NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER VENTUS, Win 10 Pro 64, Zoom version is 5.15.6 (19959).
Good afternoon Im currently a member of a men's group who have suffer a recent divorce or separation and I'm trying to do a zoom call for them on Christmas Day so we are not alone but I can't afford to purchase a plan plus it's currently only a one time occurrence. Thank you so much! Have a wonderful day
Hello, I am trying to connect a building alarm panel dialer to an AudioCodes 1288. No matter the settings I change the modem lines don't seem to synch up. I monitor the line connected to the legacy PBX and the communication seems the same. I know there is some delay which is probably causing the issue. I see modem settings in the Audio Codes, but the recommended Fax settings from Zoom seem to be interfering with them. Has anyone had any luck when attempting this before. I have also tried with a Grandstream ATA with no luck. Thanks,Derek
How can I remove the speaker thumbnail when recording, so that only the shared screen is recorded, and no thumbnail/speaker is shown? In Settings > Recording, I have disabled "Record active speaker with shared screen", "Record gallery view with shared screen" and "Record active speaker, gallery view and shared screen separately". I have also disabled "Display participants' names in the recording" and "Record thumbnails when sharing". Finally, in the meeting itself, under Settings > Recording, I have disabled "Display participants' names in the recording". Despite all this, I'm still getting a small black box for the active speaker in the top right which shows up in the recording, when I only want to see the slide presentation. Previously, I was able to get rid of this box by changing just the meeting setting to remove "Display participants' names in the recording" but now I cannot find any way to get rid of it. I restarted the desktop version of the applicati
I am hosting an event where all participants are going to watch a film together and then discuss in breakout rooms.I know I can share my screen with the video and use the settings to "optimise for video clip" and "sound" but is that all I can do? I just want to make sure it is a really smooth viewing process for everybody. It's 1 hour long, so not exactly a video clip! Thanks!
Hello - I bought the basic unlimited phone service, 1 line. I put in a request for a port of my existing phone number but failed to ask for a temporary number until the port is complete. Is there any way to get a temporary number added without having to purchase a second line while the port is happening? Thank you.
Hello All! I run a lot of Zoom Webinars without any trouble - but today we experienced a pretty nasty glitch. - The entire screen went Green - no way to get it back. Just restarted Zoom and then the video was just black. Restarted the computer and then it seemed to work fine. Worried about future webinars.
Does anyone by chance know of an App where Tasks can be submitted to a particular user on zoom and then it can handle repeating and alerting the user to the pending tasks until they take action such as On Hold or completed? Thanks
Hello Zoom Support Team,I am writing to appeal the restriction placed on my PC that is preventing me from joining or hosting meetings. Whenever I try to join a meeting, I receive error code 1 1 3 2, which blocks all access.I believe this restriction may have been applied by mistake. I use Zoom strictly for legitimate purposes such as online classes, school-related meetings, and educational discussions. I do not engage in any activities that violate Zoom’s Terms of Service, and I have never intentionally misused the platform. This issue is only occurring on my PC. I am able to access Zoom from other devices, which makes me believe that my computer or IP address may have been incorrectly flagged by the system. I kindly request a review of my account and device to verify this.Zoom is extremely important for my education, and being unable to join meetings is affecting my ability to attend classes and communicate with teachers and classmates. I assure you that I will continue to follow all Z
Is there any workaround / solution for this problem:I just upgraded to the latest Zoom version 6.7 on Linux and the icons and fonts in the new navigation menu are far too small (for me).The Accessibility settings have several scaling options but this excludes the navigation itself.I am on a high DPI monitor and all other programs scale properly but Zoom seems to ignore the scaling configuration. My system: Ubuntustudio 24.04
I would like to know if it's possible to find out who turned on transcript function during the meeting. I saw that the message 'This meeting is being transcribed' popped up in my meeting but none of the participants are admitting that they turned it on.
I am the owner of a Zoom licence for my society and I would like to avoid to be the only one able to open sessions which are led by colleagues within the society. How can I do simply ? Thanks
