Hm. This thing seems to have eaten my reply, so here it goes again: I'm on Mac, and macOS's input-volume settings are separate from Zoom's, so that isn't it (incidentally, my Mac's input volume is set to maximum). But thanks a lot!

Thank you for your help! I'm on Mac, and the Mac audio settings are separate from the Zoom audio settings, so that isn't it (incidentally, my Mac's microphone input is set to maximum volume). But thanks anyway! 

Yes, that's precisely my point. That slider is always reset to 1/4 of the maximum value. I always have to manually set it to the maximum value for people to hear me properly. Is there a way to set it to the maximum by default?
