Meetings vs Webinars

I would like to run an event where participants can come into it for free. 

I understand that I can only have 100 people in meetings, but 500 people in webinars - but I don't like that we can't see everyone's faces in the webinar - is that correct?

Zoom meetings can be adjusted through restrictions to be very much like a webinar.
