I'm scheduling a meeting with several alternative hosts and breakout rooms.
In the past, I would use the registration feature as a way to help the breakout room pre-assignments run smoothly so the email I use matches the one they sign in with. I do this so when attendees login we get them to use the same email we have associated with our system in case they login on "mom's ipad".
Today I'm running into an issue where when alternative hosts try to register it's saying "host can not register" which has never happened in the past. I need alternative hosts to be able to share screens and be assigned to the appropriate room and this is really throwing a wrench in my plan which has always worked since the onset of covid and virtual meetings.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Two things:

I had the same problem. The person was a cohost and could not join the meeting. It was almost a disaster because they were a main speaker and could not get into the zoom.

Hi @Powers5
What exactly was the error message? There are several reasons why a user can get locked out of a meeting. What error message was this person getting?

The problem is that if the host makes others cohosts in advance of the meeting, when they go to register to get into the meeting (meaning, joining the meeting via the registration), then they can't get in. So hosts have to wait until potential cohosts register and come into the meeting before they can make them a cohost. This is not good because in our case at least, the reason cohosts are determined ahead of time is in case something happens with the host's connection, etc.
