We have deployed some clients via SCCM and some clients have directly installed Zoom from the website. We need to allow auto update of the app silently without any prompts to the users giving them the option to update or choose later.
We have deployed a Group Policy via https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/360039100051-Group-Policy-Options-for-the-Windows-desktop-... and have enabled autoupdate and silentautoupdate. We are still noticing users being prompted with a window asking them if they want to update or do it later.
Is there a way we can ensure that we do not require any user intervention and the app can update automatically?
We use windows 10 1809 and 20H2 Enterprise

vinaynagarajan, based on the settings you have selected, the users should not be getting prompted. Can you confirm if it is all users getting the prompt, or just those that had already installed on their own? If it is only people who installed on their own, does it resolve itself after the first autoupdate?

Hey @vinaynagarajan are you still having this issue? @colegs had further questions regarding your discussion 🙂 If not, don't forget to accept the reply as the solution, thanks!

Also with Silent update, will the client wait until it is at idle? Meaning it won't auto update during an active call?
Or does this occur at client startup?
