I have a licensed account but all my new meetings have a restriction of 60'. Any idea why is that?

Correction: it's a Zoom One Pro account and a licensed user.

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @nikosdra.

A limited number of new Zoom Licensed accounts were affected by a software glitch earlier this year.  Please ensure you have updated to the latest Zoom Desktop App, and especially update any add-ons like Outlook for Zoom, where a number of the issues seemed to occur.

Secondly.  if you've recently upgraded your personal account from Basic (free) to Pro (Licensed), you might just need to assign the License you purchased to your User Account.

See this web page for assistance:

https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/115004976063-Assigning-a-License

Follow these steps taken from the article:

    1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal at https://zoom.us.
    2. Click User Management, then Users.
    3. Locate or search for the user who you want to assign a license. There will likely only be your single account – click your account
    4. Click Edit at the end of the user row. This will open a window.
    5. Choose the User Type to assign, selecting Licensed.
    6. After choosing the User Type, use the drop down to select the license. There should be an indication that you have 1 available user license if you have indeed purchased one or more new licenses. Click the available license.
    7. (Optional) Assign add-ons can be included by checking the boxes for the add-on. You will not likely have any add-ons, so you might skip this step.
    8. Click Save.

The license is now applied to your user account and you can use it immediately.

If neither of those resolves the issue, please submit a support ticket to our Billing team here and they will be able to assist you by investigating your account settings.

Ray -- Happy holidays, everyone! I’m taking a few days (mostly) off. See you in 2025!

Ray, thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, none of these ideas worked.

I am already properly licensed, I have the latest software update, I am logged in my zoom client, but still get the 60' countdown

Are your meetings automatically cut off at 60 minutes? Or are you just seeing the timer?

If your meetings are getting cut off at 60 minutes, you need to contact support with all details:

Support Ticket: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/requests/new

Basic accounts get cut off at 40 minutes; there’s no plan I’m aware of that gets cut off at 60 minutes.

There is a setting to enable display of a timer for any meeting. See this Zoom Support article for details:
