Why does my Zoom Automatically Mute me when I screen Share, and I can't unmute?

My daughter is doing a zoom math class, it relies on her being able to share her screen and speak with the instructor.  We have a new Chromebook and every time she shares screen, it automatically mutes her, and the only way to unmute is to stop screen sharing.  I have had friends this has happened to as well.  Any Help?

I am having the same issue. It is so irritating. I don't understand why zoom has decided to add such a useless feature. To add insult, you have to upgrade your account to a higher level in order to speak directly to someone.

Zoom, when do you plan to answer this question.
