Video issues between iphone and imac

I usually zoom on imac. Once I zoomed on iphone and opened video on iphone. Now on the Mac there is no video until I manually press “detach video” button on my iphone. This occurs EVERY time, even when I deleted the Zoom app from my phone

Are you using the same account?
Are you using iPhone for zoom, it sound like you are using the iPhone as the camera for the Mac.

Sounds like apple is assuming you want the iPhone as your camera. Zoom can only use what Apple gives it.
