It seems that Zoom is missing some options for setting defaults for recurring meetings. For one, it would be nice if you could add attendees that are also alternative or co-hosts without having to have them be part of the account or wait until the meeting to assign them. Also, Setting the sharing options to allow all participants to share by default would be really helpful. When the host has to change that every time, it gets tedious and unnecessarily takes up time.

Hi @misszoomie! thank you for your contribution to the Zoom Community, and apologies for the delayed reply. Thank you for your feedback! I know currently, the alternative host does have to be under the same account, but you can definitely send this feedback to our product teams via zoom.us/feed. In regards to screen sharing, you can allow screen sharing by default. Please head to your profile settings under In Meeting (Basis) > Screen Sharing at zoom.us/profile/settings

Thank you. If I change that settings in the account profile, or default sharing, will that change the default setting on a recurring meeting that has already been created? It would be nice if people could just upvote suggestions here, instead of asking for something to exist here, having it confirmed that it does not, and then having to fill it in somewhere else. Just saying.

I don't think the question ahd anything to do with screen sharing. We want to reassign who hosts a recurring meeting that has already been created so that we don't have to recreate the meeing and change the invitation for all the guests! I have a new user that I want to take over as host of a recurring meeting created over two years ago! What can I do? Also:
STEP-BY-STEP...
A good documentation creator explains where to navigate, what to click, and what to expect. I have done this professionally for pro I.T. shops and users alike.
Please comment and please let us know if it is possible to assign a new user to see the recurring meeting in their schedule, and to start and host the meeting. Then, please give us the steps that will complete the task.
Thank you in advance!

Yes, this will change the default setting for any meetings created as long as the meeting is not actively running. We hope to provide upvoting feature requests in the future. Stay tuned!
