On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Recording: Cannot retrieve recording

Hi there, 

 

I recorded a meeting on Zoom and had it saved locally. The saved file does not appear on my computer (a Mac). Zoom says for its part that the recording was saved on another computer (see attached screenshot), which is not correct. Can this please be resolved? This is urgent. Thank you.

Hi @iana ! I know it has been a while since you initially posted, but I want to make sure you receive assistance. I am very sorry to hear that you are unable to locate the recording. Can you confirm that you recorded the meeting using the Zoom desktop client?  Local recordings are currently only available using the Zoom app.

does anyone know how to retrieve a meeting that was not recorded?  i read they are saved for one week
