when i tried from t-mobile and zoom, the call went through.

when i tried from magicjack,  i got "this number is a pay per minute that is not included in magicjacks unlimited plan."  magicjack says to call customer service at 877-846-5066 if you believe that you have gotten the mesage in error.  magic says says they will clear the number if it turns out not to be a pay per minute call.

what error mesages are you getting from each of the DC area landline carriers you tried such as verizon?
