Meeting invitations not working

I've had a number of issues which may be connected: they've all happened in the past four days after a period of not scheduling meetings with clients.

First client

> I scheduled meetings in the zoom app and they did not appear in my calendar – I tried several times.

> I eventually created a meeting in my calendar and pasted the zoom link into it. I invited my client who wrote back to say "i received the invite but unfortunately it's been jumbled by our firewall"

Second client

> I scheduled a meeting in zoom and this time it went to my calendar in the usual way. Don't know why.

> I then invited my client as I usually do. She responded "it appears I need to sign on to access the invitation"

> I tried again with a new zoom meeting and a new invitation. She sent me a screen grab of an error message: This XML file does not seem to have any style information associated with it.

I'm on a Mac using Calendar and Mail. This all used to work before but now it doesn't.

Hope someone can help.

Frustrating

I am very frustrated.  All of a sudden, I can't simply copy/paste a zoom link to send to my students. I like them to be able to click on it whenever we arrange a lesson.

Same problem.  I cannot copy the standard invitation that everyone expects.

I tried to create a new meeting and add emails in the invitation portion.  No emails were sent (I copy myself).

How dare Zoom charge us money to disable our accounts in this fashion???

Try disconnecting and reconnecting your calendar to Zoom. Certain firewalls block external links. If the issuer persists you can create the meeting in Zoom, copy the invite and paste it into an email to send it that way. Alternatively there is a Zoom app, Salepager, that lets you schedule Zoom meetings and send invites to both you and your client.
