Loss of sound after using Zoom

Hi Zoom users. I have recently set up a new Dell XPS 15. I use Zoom, Teams and Slack to communicate externally and with my team. When I use Zoom, everything works fine during the meeting. But as soon as I end the meeting, the sound function drops out completely on my computer. I cannot use any other application requiring sound; sound on internet does not work either. Once I restart my computer everything re-sets itself, and all is fine until I use Zoom again. I have changed security settings for Zoom Meetings as trusted. Any ideas on why this is happening and what I can do to fix it?
