Starting March 1, 2022, you may notice some changes in the way you can report on your meetings and webinars.
Zoom will remove email addresses for users flagged as guests from Account Reports, Dashboards, and Zoom REST APIs unless they meet certain conditions. Please note, email addresses of users on your own account will continue to be shared with your organization for reporting, as usual.
Please review FAQ on the upcoming changes from Zoom Support here: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/4416109814541-March-2022-FAQ-on-reporting-changes

Is accuityscheduling one of the APIs that can pass through email addresses?

Is it possible for guests to select whether they agree their email addresses to be included in the meeting reports when they enter the Zoom meeting? This function is quite essential for attendance-taking and identity verification.
If the guests disagree, they may opt not to join the Zoom meeting anyway.

Is it possible that this change has produced a user identification error, in the case of users using aliases in email?

Hello
2022-03-11 08:10 AM
This policy does not make any sense to me, since zoom will be used and more in its seminar version to give talks, and many times people who do not register previously are invited, but in any case we want to identify, so if this policy continues like this and we cannot have the information that is requested when entering the email, I think that some companies will stop using this tool

I don't understand this either.
Webinar attendees are still being asked for their email.
Why even ask, when whis data does not appear in any reporting?
Only having names in the reports is not sufficient for us as names are not always enough to identify a participant for being eligible for a certificate of attendance for example...

Hello,
Experiencing an major issue with this change in reporting practice, despite having an Eventbrite integration.
The integration is supposed to share all Eventbrite attendee registrations with with Zoom and subsequently Zoom is supposed to automatically check-in attendees who attended the meeting / webinar on Eventbrite.
We now find that registrations are no longer being transferred from Eventbrite to Zoom, and therefore attendee reports are devoid of emails. We are already in possession of registrant details, so cannot understand that the details of invited participants be withheld in the attendee reports when we have the integration in place.
Also, as joining attendees don't tend to type their full name, they are often incomplete, typos are also common, or nicknames are used. Therefore their name in the attendee report does not match the one in the registration details and identification for any follow up activities (e.g. certification if educational event) is significantly impacted and the task becomes a huge administrative burden. The integration is a solution to this, but it seems the changes have broken this.
If a host has an integration, they should be meeting the first point listed in the March 2022 update:
"In addition, you will continue to see email addresses included in your Reports and Dashboard for the following groups:
This is really disruptive and extremely disappointing that this integration is now broken or made redundant by this change.
Will these integrations be re-established?

Hi all,
We have very fortunately found a solution ourselves (sadly no understanding or help from customer support team at Zoom). Hoping this will help others.
Registration needs to be enabled on Zoom as well.
To any integration users (e.g. Eventbrite integration):
The above is how you can comply with the first point listed in the March 2022 update:
"[...] you will continue to see email addresses included in your Reports and Dashboard for the following groups:
It's very simple and should have been communicated to integration users much earlier.
For anyone worried about enabling registration on the Zoom webinar/meeting - this does not mean your attendee is asked to register on your platform of choice and then again on Zoom. It simply enables Zoom to use the registration information already collected by your platform.

I am not sure why zoom removing the good feature for authenticate and sorting the user for making report. As every body might experienced, the meeting report generated will be show by different name even it is the same user by looking at the email. Now we can't see anymore which one are the same user, most unfortunate if the user have bad connection and missing few minute on zoom system.
If they want to make change supposedly be like this either asking permission for participants to give their email (if permission not given, zoom need to put additional marking for tracking the same user such as unique ID or make Admin/User have option to collect email (Notification/notice will be given to participants which is their email will be collected or show the email with few character exposed, eg *********** become zoom*******@*******. By doing this I am sure still we get the most compromise on safety/security issue.
