How to have a hostless meeting after the host leaves?

Currently, when the host leaves the meeting, Zoom asks that person who to assign as the new host before leaving. I wanted to know if there's a way to change that. I would like for the meeting to continue without a host. Is there a way to set that up?

Thank you very much in advance.

Certainly! When the host exits a Zoom meeting, the platform prompts them to assign a new host, but there's currently no direct option to continue without one. Zoom is designed to ensure meeting management for security and order. However, you can designate a co-host before the meeting or promote a participant to host before leaving as workarounds.

Thank you, @jackdavid09. That's a pity; I was hoping there was a way to have a hostless meeting after the host leaves.

This morning our host had technical problems and got booted from the meeting without assigning host or naming a cohost and host was automatically assigned to the second person who joined, who by that time was asleep.  So instead of the dangers of a no-host meeting, we had the much greater dangers of a hosted meeting with an absent host.  This is a real security issue that I hope will be dealt with.
