: Urgent Issue – Webinar Dates Changed Automatically

Hello,

I am experiencing an issue with my recurring webinar series on Zoom. The webinar dates were automatically changed without any action on our part, and Zoom sent an email to participants informing them of a schedule change, which is incorrect and causing major confusion.

Here are the details of the issue:

  • Issue: Zoom modified the dates without any manual changes from our team and sent a misleading email to participants.
  • Impact: We are losing participants due to this confusion.

Could you please investigate why Zoom changed the dates automatically and provide guidance on how to prevent this from happening again?

We would appreciate a prompt resolution, as this is affecting the success of our webinar series.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @purpleminds.

It’s highly unlikely that Zoom made any changes without it intervention. I’m guessing you created a recurring series, and then manually changed the dates on some of them, and later clicked Edit and selected the “Edit All Occurrences” option, which can – under some circumstances – reset the days back to the original schedule. There are other scenarios that trigger resends to registrants, but none of them happen unless some changes is being made by the user.

If you want assistance based on the premise that Zoom did this on the back end without your action, you’ll need to submit a Support Ticket.
