On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Recording doesn't show me the speaker

Hi

Last night I did a meeting with recording on to be saved to my computer. The video doesn't show ME the speaker. (and teacher). I thought it had to do with "Hide Self View" but when I tested it today and turned off "Hide Self View" 

it still doesn't show me. Attached file shows my settings. 

 

What's the issue?

You need to check the Record thumbnails when sharing check box.

 

Oh wait. You said “saved to your computer.” Was it a local recording? The settings you show in your screen shot are only for Cloud recordings. But there is similar check box on the Zoom Desktop app too

Right - thanks! I've been a Zoom user since the very early days, ie. there was no ability to schedule meetings, and hadn't noticed how the save to local computer and save to the cloud settings had changed. I see it now because of your response. MyThank you.
