recording a meeting automatically

I want to record a meeting that REI,the outdoor company is having through zoom.

I will not be at home. I would like to know if i leave my computer on if I can program zoom to record at a specific time and end at a specific time.

Hey, @scubasteve70.  I think the simple answer is, "No."

 

Here's why: The meeting is THEIR meeting, and you would have to ask their permission to record it, then they would set your permission to "Allow local recording", then you'd have to start the recording -- and all of this has to be done during the meeting.

 

If you are a registered attendee at a meeting or webinar, many such companies will send you a link allowing you to watch THEIR recording.  See if you can contact the host and ask them if they will make the recording available to you.

Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
In the navigation menu, click Meetings.
Click Schedule a Meeting or click the meeting topic from the list of Upcoming tab and click Edit. ...
Under Options, select the check box next to Automatically record meeting.
Select either On the local computer or In the cloud.

 

Also, you will need a permission to record the meeting from the host as well.
