Turn off onscreen popup notifiactions during meetings

I want to disable pop-up notifications that show on-screen during a meeting. When there is a sound in the room, I keep getting a window in the middle of the screen telling me my mic is off.  I want my mic off and don't want to be warned.

How do I turn off on-screen notifications, or at least the one about my mic being off?

Unfortunately, this feature cannot currently be disabled - there is a fair amount of frustration in both this and the dev communities:

If you are able to open a ticket with Zoom Support, please ask them to send you a Feature Request Intake Form. I am confident that this feature (ability to disable 'you are muted' pop-up) has already been requested by multiple users, but the more traction a feature request gets, the more likely Zoom is to implement the feature.

Thank you so much for the info, but no thanks go to Zoom. I cannot believe something as annoying and simple as unwanted on-screen notifications can't simply be turned off with a setting.

Is there a specific place to request features from Zoom?

Thanks. I submitted a ticket.  Hopefully, if enough tickets are submitted they will fix this glaring inability to turn off this and other onscreen notifications.
