Disabling name changing & security

Does disabling a participant's ability to change their name via the participants list DURING a meeting improve meeting security?

To me, it depends on the definition of security. The main reason I think I’d want to prevent people from changing their names is if you have attendees who might change their names to something objectionable. If your attendees are well known to you, then I don’t think restricting their name change helps you much.
