I am hosting an event where all participants are going to watch a film together and then discuss in breakout rooms.I know I can share my screen with the video and use the settings to "optimise for video clip" and "sound" but is that all I can do? I just want to make sure it is a really smooth viewing process for everybody. It's 1 hour long, so not exactly a video clip!Thanks!
Hello - I bought the basic unlimited phone service, 1 line. I put in a request for a port of my existing phone number but failed to ask for a temporary number until the port is complete. Is there any way to get a temporary number added without having to purchase a second line while the port is happening? Thank you.
Hello All! I run a lot of Zoom Webinars without any trouble - but today we experienced a pretty nasty glitch. - The entire screen went Green - no way to get it back. Just restarted Zoom and then the video was just black. Restarted the computer and then it seemed to work fine. Worried about future webinars.
Does anyone by chance know of an App where Tasks can be submitted to a particular user on zoom and then it can handle repeating and alerting the user to the pending tasks until they take action such as On Hold or completed? Thanks

Whenever I try to join a meeting, I receive error code 1 1 3 2, which blocks all access.I believe this restriction may have been applied by mistake. I use Zoom strictly for legitimate purposes such as online classes, school-related meetings, and educational discussions. I do not engage in any activities that violate Zoom’s Terms of Service, and I have never intentionally misused the platform.This issue is only occurring on my PC. I am able to access Zoom from other devices, which makes me believe that my computer or IP address may have been incorrectly flagged by the system. Is there any workaround / solution for this problem:I just upgraded to the latest Zoom version 6.7 on Linux and the icons and fonts in the new navigation menu are far too small (for me).The Accessibility settings have several scaling options but this excludes the navigation itself.I am on a high DPI monitor and all other programs scale properly but Zoom seems to ignore the scaling configuration.My system: Ubuntustudio 24.04
I would like to know if it's possible to find out who turned on transcript function during the meeting. I saw that the message 'This meeting is being transcribed' popped up in my meeting but none of the participants are admitting that they turned it on.

We are an organization that as a whole records 90% of it's meetings, & can't turn off the recording lock. However, 10% of meetings (That are re-occurring meetings) would like to not have to turn of the recording every meeting. Is it possible to still have accounts recording locked, but "Opt out" certain recurring meetings?
Hi! I uploaded and installed Zoom v6.0.2 from their website on my mac os 10.15.7 twice now, but when i try to open it, it tells me that it needs os 11.0 or later to work with Zoom v 6.0.2, so is there another Zoom version that will work? When I trying to update my os it says that it's current?
Hello,unfortunately, I have another question:I work with two screens. The program that needs to be recorded runs on the main screen, while I see the Zoom tools and the participant list/videos on the second monitor. However, when I record the session, the participant images are displayed in the recording and partially cover important information from the program being shown. How can I prevent this permanently?I start Zoom on a MacBook Pro, Tahoe from the Zoom website.Thank you very much for your help.helpa

Hi! I've been having some issues with zoom when I try to log in via SSO and join a meeting - "The Code Execution cannot proceed because UIBase.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem" I get the same error for CMMlib.dll, Duilib.dll, and MSAALib.dll. I have tried using Clean zoom to uninstall and reinstall zoom, used the MSI installer, and also can see all of these files in the zoom folder, so they definitely exist. Any advice much appreciated!

I get automatically logged out of zoom Workplace, when I login on a different computer (Macbook) with the same account. This is very annoying and I don't see a reason why. I'm also logged in on my iPhone and iPad simultaneously. Anybody knows a way out?
I am using a MacBook Air laptop for zoom meetings. At some point in the last month I chose a blue background for video, that now I cannot get rid of... I can cover it with another background, but nowhere in the video settings for zoom can I eliminate this blue background.\The problem is, since I put it up, now my face and body or parts of me disappear and reappear when in a zoom meeting. Can anyone help me to eliminate this issue? Like I said, there is nothing in the normal video settings that works. Thank you!
Since last week, whenever I join a meeting, after a delay, I get the error message "Virtual background is still loading". This appears to be permanent. It is still possible to turn on the video, also after a delay, but I can not blur my background as I would wish. I have a MacBook Pro (i7-6820HQ @2.70GHz) running MacOS Monterey 12.7.6 with plenty of free memory. Does anyone have any idea of how to cure this?
I've tried to uninstall zoom, clean registry, boot PC, and use MSI to insure clean 64 bit install. This places the install in Program Files. Confirm that 64 bit is running via task manager. Within a day, the 64 bit install is gone, Zoom directory in program files is gone, but Zoom now running 32 bit client with ProgramFiles(x86) Zoom directory created. This is .... Also, the "check for updates" disappears from the Zoom desktop. It is there when first installed. Running version 5.11.11. Surely I'm not the only person in the world with this problem?
If you get a sales rep that cares, good for you, but mines was horrible. His name was JL and he would not help with setup. He would just direct us to other people, so I dont know why he was hired. Then to setup, the process takes long and you have to keep chatting with others to get your phone system up and running. Then the biggest headache is setting up the SMS text messaging. It took numerous times to get it approved and you have to argue with customer service to help you with what is wrong with the SMS registration. After I got it done, which took two months by the way, they proceed to tell me that I must purchase another license and my team could not all text from the same phone number which is our main number for the office. At this point I am done with Zoom. I ended the subscription and you have to contact yet again customer service for this. Numerous agents have stated my account will end by this day and now they are saying it is on a soft pause and that I need to wait till it
Hi every one, I am preparing presentations for zoom meetings and wanted to ask if there's a way to view speaker notes while screen sharing slides. I know speaker notes are easy to use in tools like power point or google slides , but during zoom meetings it's not always clear how to keep notes visible without participants seeing them.

I have had a personal Zoom account for more than three years and lately when I attempt to join a meeting or start meetings that I have scheduled I get the following message: "You must update to the latest version of Zoom to join this meeting. Contact your IT admin to update." I don't have an IT admin, so I attempted to do the update myself. When I scroll to the Downloads section on the bottom of the Zoom home screen and click to download the latest version, I am asked to sign in to my account. When I attempt to sign in to my account, I get the following message: "Your app version needs to be 5.12.2 or higher to sign in. Please contact your IT team to update your version of Zoom." So I can't join or run meetings unless I update the Zoom version, and I can't sign in to update the Zoom version unless I am on a later version. So I am stuck. Was wondering if anyone can help me solve this issueOn all Outbound calls the voice prompt "Call may be monitored for Quality Assurance" comes on. We as a company do not have call recording enabled, so I do not understand why this prompt plays. I have ensured that the Prompt "play a disclaimer prompt to call participants" has not been selected for any of our monitoring participants. Is there something I am missing? Thank you!
