Virtual background is still loading

Since last week, whenever I join a meeting, after a delay, I get the error message "Virtual background is still loading".  This appears to be permanent.  It is still possible to turn on the video, also after a delay, but I can not blur my background as I would wish. 

I have a MacBook Pro (i7-6820HQ @2.70GHz) running MacOS Monterey 12.7.6 with plenty of free memory. 

Does anyone have any idea of how to cure this?

What version of the Zoom Client are you currently using?

What we advise is to ran the CleanZoom installer and reinstall the Zoom app.

Then check if the Virtual background is still loading.

You can still turn on the video and choose the blur option after reinstalling.

Where do I find the CleanZoom installer?

I have performed a standard uninstall and reinstalled (version 6.6.0) and the problem persists.  The only change seems to be that I have lost my library of virtual backgrounds.

I'm having the same problem.  No idea why it started, have uninstalled Zoom app, then reinstalled it but it didn't fix the problem.

I have a HP OmniBook X Laptop 14. I am experiencing a similar concern. However, when I receive the message that the "virtual background is loading" I am offered to use the video with or without the camera. In choosing, please still use, the video never appears. My camera light pops up and the internal camera is on, but I have a blank screen. It has forced me to restart my sessions with clients and loose time. I've received the following error message as well.
