Zoom Webinar Glitches

Hello All! I run a lot of Zoom Webinars without any trouble - but today we experienced a pretty nasty glitch.

- The entire screen went Green - no way to get it back. Just restarted Zoom and then the video was just black. Restarted the computer and then it seemed to work fine. Worried about future webinars.

Hi @TaylorS!

Thanks for letting us know about this. The green or black screen issue you saw is usually caused by a temporary graphics rendering error or an outdated video driver.

Please try the following before your next webinar:

  1. Update the Zoom app to the latest version.

  2. Restart your computer after updating.

  3. Make sure your graphics driver is fully up to date.

  4. In Zoom, go to Settings > Video > Advanced and turn off Use hardware acceleration for video processing.

  5. Relaunch Zoom and test the video in a new meeting or webinar.

If the problem happens again, please submit a ticket with the meeting ID and log files so our team can take a closer look.

Thank you so much for this response! Question, how do you submit a ticket? And what do you mean by log files? A Zoom report or system log files?
