We have been experiencing and odd glitch with one of the members of our team. She is using the built in facetime camera on her Intel MacBook Pro. Periodically during meetings her video feed will flicker, go black and white, and sometimes actually show small frames of other participants' video in her square. We've tried all the standard system troubleshooting for her camera and the problem persists. Anyone else seen anything like this? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks! The effect when her video feed is glitching is reminiscent of a low quality analog video feed, like a closed circuit tv kind of. The strangest part is seeing the other participants' feeds show up in her frame.
I'm using an Apple Studio and have zoom turned on under the Accessibility setting in the OS. While sharing my screen in a meeting I can use CTL and the scroll wheel on my mouse and see it zoom in on my display, but meeting participants don't see it zoom.Does anyone know of a way to make that happen?
Hi all! I've searched quite a bit for this and am struggling to find a solution. Our preference is to send Meeting Invites from within the Zoom App when we schedule a new meeting. We have a way of automatically preparing student email addresses where they are separated by a comma. However, this is resulting in ALL invitees receiving EVERYONE'S email address. Is there a way to turn this off inside the Zoom Settings? We'd prefer not to have to use an external Email Client if at all possible. Thanks in advance!Dave
For emails that are enabled, at what point are they triggered and sent? For instance, I have already added all of my speakers. The event is not published yet. Once published, will all of those speaker invitation emails go out automatically? Or only if a new speaker is added after the fact. Or, when I upload my list of attendees, will that automatically trigger an email to them? Is there one universal link to my event or does each attendee and speaker get a unique link?
I'm having issues with the whiteboard that I didn't have before it was updated. 1. People in my meetings cannot see the whiteboard although my screen shows it is being shared. 2. When I save it, it's a mess so has to be heavily reconfigured before I can share it. 3. In the page preview function, only the first page shows there is content, but when you click on subsequent pages, the content is there. I'd appreciate any tips/advice. One short rant, why did Zoom change something that worked well to something that is more cumbersome and less effective?
Hey All, After upgrading to ZR version 6.6 it looks like HDMI content isnt able to be shared into Zoom via the Crestron HDMI Converter on a UC Engine. Since min version was just enforced, I can no longer downgrade to a 6.5.x version. Has anyone else see this? thanks
My profile has my correct name but each time I join a weekly meeting it shows the first names of myself and my partner, probably created years ago for a one time social event. I "rename" it every week and choose "remember" yet every single week it defaults back to these two names. Please help!!
According to zoom guideline, we can reset the virtual background then all uploaded image will be deleted, but actually it left in the system. May I know how can I solve it? thx!
Hello Community , We are hosting large zoom meetings / webinars and we are having a major problem ,We have to give co-host to multiple participants daily so that they can move themselves And this created many co-hosts and on some occasions someone deliberately closes the breakoutrooms . I search all the web on how to disable the close rooms function for only host , "It's coded in Zoom functions." I searched all the web on how to log the culprit, "Zoom does not log who exactly did" Seems like a major limitation for large meeting hosting, there should be a way to limit the role of the cohost to less function like eliminating the close breakout rooms for them or at least log which cohost triggered the function without paying the extra for "new feature request " Ive seen it being asked in the past but to no avail . Pleas
As the host, I am not showing as the main speaker on "speaker view." Other participants are showing up when they speak, but not me when I speak. It must be something in my settings because this happens on my backup laptop as well.
So when I open up my Win10 Zoom app and go into my account and go into Settings, the Settings page freezes when I click on either the Video or the Background & Filter tabs. It does not freeze using and of the other tabs.Because it's froze, I have to Ctrl-Alt-Delete so that I can close the Settings page with Task Manager. The Zoom app itself is not frozen, just the Settings page and that only freezes if I click on the Video or Background & Filters tabs. I have UNinstalled with the Windows Uninstaller and with the REVO uninstaller and reinstalled both times. I was just getting ready to do REVO again when I noticed something. REVO says I have a 64-bit Zoom version (v. 5.7.7 1105) whereas the Task Manager has indicated that I have a 32-bit Zoom version. Any suggestions? Here is my computer hardware: OS Name Microsoft Windows 10 HomeVersion 10.0.19043 Build 19043Other OS Description Not AvailableOS Manufacturer Microsoft Corporation
Does anyone know how to resolve this issue if you've also encountered it? Every time I set up a meeting that requires registration (even if attendees get automatically approved) I always have several people who registered but are unable to join the meeting, and are either asked to register again, or cannot join at all because the meeting registration is full. It's very challenging to navigate this when I'm hosting a meeting and getting flooded with emails of people unable to join, and I don't know how to advise them. Thank you in advance for any advice!
I had a client call today I created via Zoom. I use Fathom to record the meeting. What I learned is that during the meeting I couldn't find how to stop Fathom. What I discovered is that after the meeting there was no Fathom recording. BUT, the client is using the Read tool. It tookover the meeting recording. And, it recorded after the client left the meeting so the client got to here our private conversation. This is incredible.

We have a shared phone group for our front reception desk that has a few members of our administrative staff who rotate behind the desk when our dedicated reception is out of the office. Recently, they brought to our attention that they get bombarded with voicemails from the main office line when they have the shared phone group turned off. Is there a setting that I am overlooking that includes suppression of them getting voicemails on top of phone calls when they toggle off the shared group as they no longer need to be answering calls from that line?
I can't find the option to allow simultaneous screen sharing by multiple participants. If I click on the up arrow beside the share screen button, it only shows the options to allow other participants to share. But it does not allow them to share their screens at the same time. I've attached a screen shot. My Zoom desktop client version is 5.10.4
Why did Zoom Meetings share option change to grouped applications? I specifically need to share different documents / apps at different times and I like to know what I'm sharing and not just any one of the open apps. This is a security risk too - as I do not want to share attendee information in error, I have a class register with people's details on it in Excel, I also have work I want to share on excel. When I want to share, the app only shows me Excel (2) but does not let me choose which of the two documents 😞 Same with Youtube app, I have it open as well as a Google browser, now I cannot share them seperately. The Zoom app only shows me a Google (2) and when I select that I cannot choose between YouTube app or Google browser page 😞
Hi, I have a brand new IdeaPad 3-17ITL6 Laptop - Type 82H9 with Windows 11 with "Integrated Camera". It works fine (Camera), but once i starts Zoom app (App or Browser) camera starts flickering. Already update the drivers, Uninstall and Re-Install drivers, Disable AV, ran a SFC /Scannow, ran a DISM /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth, ran two (2) BIOS updates, ran Windows Updates and even ran a PC RESET, Lowed the Refreshing rate and resolution of display, but nothing has worked. Can anyone help me please? Lenovo has not helped cause they said is not a hardware issue!!!
Hi Zoom Community, Wondering if there are updates on how well Chromebooks perform with Zoom events. Many of our clients will have Chromebooks. Does the Chromebook add-on help here at all? Thanks in advance,Deborah
It would be nice if the settings page for video camera would allow the user to set the camera zoom-in/zoom-in setting. For example, I may want my camera to be zoomed in more. Also, although the video camera zoom is fine during setup with my green screen, it automatically changes during a meeting and zooms out to maximum width view. This shows background items beyond the left and right borders of my green screen. There appears to be no way to control it to make it zoom in.
Hi AllI am looking for command area phone to use for zoom phone intercom.I would greatly appreciate your recommendations for a phone that work well with Zoom intercom. Thanks
I set the cloud recordings to be shared with "everyone who with the recording link", copied the shareable link and share the link with other people. However, when those people clicked the link, they received a "No permission. (200)" error. My account is a licenced account and the product plan is "Pro".
I'm think I’m obsessed with Zoom! Here’s three reasons why I think it’s a great platform for Virtual Events and Webinars:1. Flexibility - Whether you're hosting a one-off webinar or a series of multi-day/multi-session conferences, there’s a solution and price point to match a wide range of business needs.2. Visually appealing – gone are the days of just sharing a Zoom link and opening the laptop! (Noooo) Zoom Events creates a professionally presented, branded event page with all the details of your session and speakers. Setting the tone for your audience of what’s to come and raising the profile of your business and brand.3. Collaborative – Zoom Events encourages collaboration. Event speakers can be invited to add their images, bios and session descriptions as they’re often (not always!) best placed to share this knowledge.I'll share more about my platform preoccupation (!) soon as there are man
"Unable to establish secure connection to Zoom" message won't go away. I click "OK" to acknowledge the information. Box goes away and comes back in seconds. Repeats. Interferes with trying to troubleshoot the internet connection. Box should not interfere with troubleshooting the internet issue. Zoom needs to fix this so the box is not always in the way.
