Hi, a client of mine uses an android for zoom calls and they need to enable their original sound for our calls, but when they do, their microphone gets super quiet. We tried troubleshooting a little bit and samsung and zoom support suggested that they delete and redownload the zoom app, but this did not work. Does anyone else have this issue? Is this a Zoom or an Android issue? None of my other clients have had this issue. I believe the have the Samsung A15.
Hello, Last night, I had a group meeting where everyone ended the meeting using the video filters for a fun time. I, however, do not have this feature. I have looked up all the ways to find it but I only have backgrounds to choose from. Could someone please help me with problem-solving this issue so I can participate with the others using funny faces? Thanks!
Please tell me there is a way to access chat history if I didn't check the SAVE CHAT box when I started a chat in a meeting. Zoom used to automatically send your chat history after the meeting ended, I didn't know this had changed. It is not at all intuitive. There has to be a backdoor, right?
Our work flow requires that we use a dynamic link through Zoom Business accessed from the web, not the app. I have had issues with connecting to meetings. If I uninstall the desktop app, I have less issues. However, I cannot seem to hear the other person. (this maybe an issue on the other end). I should add, about 80% of my time on Zoom is through phone calls. If I install the desktop app, the audio works better but connection is horrible. The app opens up and gets in the way of using the web call. I do click on "use browser", but it doesn't matter, the app still opens a whole new meeting. This is costing my time (and money) to complete this task. I have meetings all day and this is quite aggravating to go through every time I make a zoom call. Has anyone encountered this? Is there a way to keep the desktop app from opening? I have been working with IT and the answer is to uninstall the app.&n

Hi Zoom Community 👋 Zoom has announced updates to IP subnet ranges and network configurations for various services. New and updated IPv4 ranges have been added for Zoom Phone and Zoom Contact Center, with specific ranges for HTTP Call Widget requests in the Flow Editor. Additionally, one IP range (16.63.29.0/24) has been removed from Zoom Meeting and Cloud Room Connector services due to migration to larger contiguous ranges. Network administrators should update firewall and network rules to accommodate these changes. Zoom has also introduced new URLs for client certificate validation, which should be added to network configurations. US01 outbound (NAT Gateway EIP): Jan 3 2025 5:00PM PST This change will modify Zoom initial connections for ZP/ZCX from existing NAT gateway IP to BYOIP subnets. There is no expected impact or actions for Zoom customers. However, we wanted to notify you all of this change. Please be sure to follow our network firewall page to do n
Is there any way to format code inline in the Team Chat? I know there are code snippet and quote features, but they're for at least one full line. Sometimes, I'd like to just mention a function name inline, like foo(). This is commonly implemented using Markdown notation, via `foo()`, and is available in Slack, Discord, GitHub, Microsoft Teams, etc.

My client is experiencing calendar issues between Zoom, Google Calendar and Outlook. Calendar invites are sent via Zoom, and when canceling or making changes to these invites (in Zoom), the updates are reflected correctly in Google Calendar but not in Outlook. This issue is happening the most with recurring invites, where the updates either don’t sync properly or fail to reflect the changes in Outlook. Has this happened to anyone else and if so have you figured out a work around?
For context: If you start recording after another person on another computer has started recording, does it bump that person off recording?
Hey folks, when I use zoom an admin to a meeting, when both of sidea we are connected in the meeting, Software zoom is being disconnected and then rejoin me automatically. This happens about 4-5 times until the meeting become stable and I we have no longer disconnections.Any idea? No ram issues, or video
It will be nice to join the Zoom breakout room through a link.We often invite Guest speakers to a specific room. Since there is no unique link to the breakout room, we give them the link to the lobby. The speakers then will be given instructions to join the intended room. Still, the speakers feel confused when they join the meeting with unexpected attendees (Unassigned room) and also finding the right room isn't any easy. If we include the room name along with the invitation link and handle auto-join to the breakout room, The process would be easier than now.
I enabled the my meeting coach feature and am very interested in seeing the results. At conclusion of the meeting, I see the meeting summary information but no results from my meeting coach. Where should I be looking to find the meeting coach information?
Hello. I tutor Chinese children daily. Yesterday and today, several students have been unable to enter the meetings. One parent sent the error code 13215. Has something happened that I am unaware of? I can still enter meetings fine on my end (USA). Any solutions?
Hi All, Is there a way to have two speakers on one split screen during a Zoom meeting or is this only in the webinars? Thank you! Crystal
Our meeting had an uninvited, offensive intruder. I have their email address. Is there a way to block this email?
Hopefully posted in correct section. I get zoom links from various groups via emails. I want to be able to make sure I have the correct name showing when I open zoom. But the meeting ALWAYS just opens without asking for the name. Makes no sense. Now if I open the app, it starts and ask me for the name. However, I can't paste the web link into the meeting join fields. The web link has the meeting info including passwords in the string, but the zoom app is too dumb to parse the information or provide a field that does that. How insane is that?
The livestream app has been functioning smoothly for several weeks. However, since yesterday, we've been encountering a '502 Bad Gateway' error, preventing the app from opening. We've already attempted troubleshooting steps such as switching laptops, host accounts, and restarting the system, but the issue persists.
We currently have Yealink T54W Desk Phones. I love how Zoom Phones (and Yealink) are able to display the Caller ID name with extra information. For example, if a call is routed to a Call Queue that the user is a member of, their desk phone will ring and show the caller ID name as "JOHN SMITH calling for CALL QUEUE A". Alternatively if the caller enters the user's extension at the IVR the caller ID name shows as "JOHN SMITH calling for USER A". However if the caller's ID is not updated on their side or is unavailable, the caller ID name will expectedly come across as "UNAVAILABLE calling for CALL QUEUE A". If it's a frequent caller, we'd like to update that on our side to be aware of the caller. If I add this caller to the local directory as MIKE SMITH, then all incoming calls from this caller will appear as MIKE SMITH. That's good to see the name now, but it does lose the "calling for CALL QUEUE A/ USER A" information... I'm unsure if what I'm looking for is even possible but
Has anyone come up with a viable way to point left? There is a right pointing arrow, but no left pointing arrow as though you only ever have to point to the right. It becomes impossible to use when wanting to draw attention to something that is on the left edge of the screen. It would be most helpful if there were both left and right pointing arrows. I spend many hours training in the Zoom environment and this is a constant headache. Using the drawing tools is cumbersome when they are left behind on the screen when you've moved on and have to constantly find the trash to remove your previous markings. It would be nice to incorporate a mouse and key combination to erase both the last marking or all markings.
I need to record all 4 breakout rooms created for an event. Is it possible?
Had multiple issues:Registered participants unable to attend the session.Troubleshoot by:1. Clicking on the join button on confirmation email received2. Copy & pasting the link into browser3. Using the meeting code and passcode4. Using a forwarded link from other participant5. Clicked on the top left hand corner to copy and paste the link of the zoom session for other users. All of the above steps ended up routing participants back to the registration page and not being admitted into the zoom meeting. Can someone please advise.. Email to Zoom support, was told its a browser issue but we tried everything that the support staff suggested. The issue is not that participants are unable to register, they were able to register for the meeting BUT UNABLE TO JOIN THE MEETING.
Curious to know how institutions conduct their degree assessment exams and similar evaluations online? With Zoom’s “All Screens Mode” in meetings, this is possible! Zoom Meetings can be utilized effectively for proctoring online exams. “All Screens Mode” allows the host to request that all participants share their screens, providing the host with a scrollable, side-by-side view of the participants and their shared desktops. This feature is specifically designed to offer a more streamlined and straightforward proctoring experience, enabling the host to monitor both participant videos and their desktop activities simultaneously. When activated during a meeting, the host can also choose to allow participants to view all shared desktops. As participants begin sharing their screens, their videos and shared desktops will appear side-by-side, while non-sharing participants’ video tiles will be displayed at the top of the window. The layout ensures that hosts can keep track of multiple partici

Hi Everyone, I have an Apple TV in my office. My apple account on my devices cannot be my work account, but my work account is the one that is tied to my zoom account (and links to my calendar, etc.). I would like to set up the Apple TV zoom with my work account so I can use it for meetings. Is there any way to set up zoom on Apple TV with a different account than the one that I use to log into my apple devices? Thank you!
