I had a Zoom yesterday, using my iPhone through the Zoom app. A meeting participant started a recording, which I allowed (as the meeting host). Now, I can't find the recording. I understand that I may not have local access to the recording on my phone, and it's not available on the Cloud with my basic account. Is this correct? If I upgrade to Pro today, will I be able to access an old recording from a day or two before? I have no idea what the record settings were, except that on my desktop the recording location is to my computer. Or might the person who asked to record, who I think also has a basic plan, have access? And is there any way to get this recording without upgrading, which I really can't afford? This is really important; the session was a memorial service for a young friend who died suddenly while traveling abroad. I organised a group to Zoom with his family from overseas, and we shared stories about the last months of his life that we spent with him. I didn't expect the fam
I am having issues with component embedded meeting sdk on my web app. On my local computer in my node.js/react project I am able to click "join meeting" and the meeting sdk loads the meeting on the page embedded with no issues but when i push the same code to my AWS hosted dev server I am not able to join the meeting and the console has an error: Zoom join failed: { type: 'INVALID_PARAMETERS', reason: 'dependent assets are not accessible' } Has anyone else encoutered this issue? I have added my production and dev domains to the "allow" list in the marketplace manage app screen
I'm playing around with the Zoom SDK for my app, and I've hit a bit of a snag when trying to join meetings hosted by other Zoom accounts. I keep getting this "Error Code: 4011" that basically says my SDK app needs to be published on the Zoom Marketplace. Now, I get why that might be a thing for big, public apps. But honestly, my use case is pretty specific and more on the internal/controlled side. Creating and maintaining a full-blown public app on the Marketplace just for this seems like overkill. So, my question to you all is: Is there ANY way around this? Has anyone figured out a clever trick or a different kind of integration that lets you use the Zoom SDK to join external meetings without having to go through the whole "publish to Marketplace" song and dance?I'm talking about things like private apps, internal integrations, or maybe some hidden config I'm missing. Anything that avoids the public marketplace hassle would be amazing!Seriously, any tips, workarounds, or even just a "no
What I’m trying to doI’m building a Meeting-Component app that uses the Zoom Apps SDK’s video_layer APIs to overlay a “✓” on the camera feed. my manifest.json needs an "app_id" set to my SDK Key (App ID).What I’ve done so farIn the Zoom Marketplace → Develop → Build App, I selected User-managed app → Meeting SDK (sometimes labeled “Zoom App SDK” or “Meeting Component”).Filled out Basic Information, Surface, Embed, Connect, Scopes (only zoomapp:inmeeting), and Local Test → Add App.In the App Credentials panel I see Client ID / Client Secret (for OAuth), but no SDK Key or SDK Secret fields.I opened the Basic Info, Access, Surface, Embed, Connect, Scopes sections again—still only OAuth credentials.Developer Mode is enabled in the Zoom client and I can load my manifest in-meeting, but all zoomSdk calls silently fail because app_id isn’t set. What I expectedA section at the top of App Credentials showing SDK Key (App ID) and SDK Secret, which I can copy into my manifest.json.Documentat

How can I change the font outlines on the headings from outlines to solid on the registration page?
Hey! We host webinars which involve multiple speakers who join the session as panellists. For the chat, we set it up so that attendees can chat with hosts and panellists, and panellists can chat with everyone. We've recently found that occasionally some panellists are unable to directly respond to messages from attendees, with all attendees' names being greyed out. This issue doesn't seem to have any rhyme or reason, with panellists being seemingly randomly affected by it - they can join the webinar one week and be fine, then find they have the issue the next. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be causing this?
Is it possible to preload handouts and presentations prior to starting a webinar?

Hi - I was a co-host of a Webinar and pressed Record when the meeting began. It says my Recordings save to my Cloud, but the recording isn't there. My Cloud is set to delete recordings after 30 days, but this was just yesterday. How can I find my recording? Was it under a different account if I signed in through the browser?
I cannot for the life of me figure out how to turn off the camera (or avatar icon) from appearing in the upper right corner of the screen when a presenter is sharing their screen. We are a camera club and frequently show/discuss photographs. We want NOTHING on the shared screen but the shared image itself. It would be really nice if this could be turned off with a keyboard combination and even better still if it could be turned off as a default and left that way. Almost never do we need to see the presenter in the upper corner of the screen. How can I eliminate this? (Don't suggest "Hide non-video participants." That doesn't work even if the presenter's camera is turned off. The static profile picture still appears in the upper right corner).
I have done over 200 Zoom workplace podcasts using a Zoom Live Trak L8 audio console with no problems. Within the past two weeks, Zoom Workplace is reluctant to recognize my L8 drivers. It defaults to internal mic and headphones.I now have to open and close Zoom workplace four or five times before it will grab the L8 drivers. I have talked to Zoom electronics and they insist that the L8 is compatible with Zoom workplace. Zoom workplace support says the L8 is not a compatible device. How is it then that I have used them for over two years with no trouble and suddenly there is a complication. If I have Adobe Audition open and then open Zoom workplace, Audition drops the L8 drivers and switches to internal mic and earphones.I have the L8 set a default in Apple system settings, but as soon as I open Zoom workplace it defaults to internal mic. I have downloaded new drivers for Zoom L8 and the Zoom Worrkplace app. I'
Hello,May I know if Zoom has the feature which basically allows you to auto share the recording (e.g. you know the meeting will be recorded) with certain people when the recording is ready in cloud? Or is it more of a manual process only? Thanks

Hi everyone,I’m curious to know how others in the community are using Zoom to collaborate on creative projects, specifically those that involve editing work. Whether it's video editing, photo editing, or content editing, Zoom offers great features like screen sharing, annotations, and breakout rooms that seem perfect for this kind of work. For example, I’ve been using Zoom to:Host live editing sessions with clients where they can provide real-time feedback.Share tutorials on how to use editing tools effectively.Collaborate with a remote team on big projects by sharing screens and discussing edits. My team also uses Zoom to integrate with project management tools like Asana or Trello to keep everything organized.I’d love to hear how others are using Zoom for similar workflows. Are there specific tips, plugins, or features that you find particularly useful?Feel free to share your thoughts! By the way, if anyone’s interested, I run a platform called Winkkapp that offers advanced editing ser
I had this issue with Mint Linux and now Ubuntu Linux with running zoom-client. Always using the newest versions. The hosts window cannot be 'pinned' when others join causing the hosts window to be minimized and moved to the top of the screen as if a client and not the host. Also, no other window can be pinned either. The video source sometimes gets scrambled or freezes up when others join the meeting.I am not sure what information is needed. Ubuntu v24.04 LTS and Zoom's newest version. Surprisingly, the audio does work.

Zoom video doesn't work on my Dell xps Intel evo I5 laptop (not sure if this is the right description). Video works on all other apps and features on the laptop and i have just spent 1 hr troubleshooting with Dell who say there is nothing wrong with the laptop, it is a zoom issue. I have googled and searched zoom community and followed all the tips and trouble shooting in general terms from uninstalling, reinstalling, logging in and out, security checks, windows checks, camera setting checks, browser security checks. I have tried the zoom app and the browser and to no avail. Please help.
It would be so, so helpful if the host of a meeting was able to alert the participants in a specific breakout room that they're coming in before entering the room, and without messaging all the other rooms at the same time. Even just a setting you could turn on that would sound a "doorbell" whenever someone enters a breakout room would be great. Even better would be if the host could send messages to individual participants (and have the participants message the host) when the host isn't in the same room. The use case: I'm a mediator. The breakout rooms often have confidential, emotionally-weighty conversations. The participants are aware that I might pop in at some point, but it's awkward to interrupt them mid-sentence, especially if they haven't noticed that I've arrived. I also don't necessarily want everyone in all the breakout rooms to know when I'm entering or leaving each room, so sending an announcement to all rooms doesn't work.
When you start a zoom meeting using its integration with Google Chat (@zoom start) and then finish the call, the zoom app automatically sends a meeting summary on chat. This is always comes a new message in that chat which often makes us think it is a new message from that person, but it's only the "meeting summary". It would be fantastic if we had the autonomy to disable that. It will keep the conversations on Google Chat cleaner and reduce the overload of notifications.
By default, Zoom messes with Windows and Mac mic input volume. After quitting Zoom, the levels stay at whatever Zoom left them at, which affects other programs negatively. This issue can be disabled via a logged in Audio option in the app, but that leaves out logged out users and browser users. Zoom should either:Restore mic input levels to what they were before Zoom was launched, in both the browser and the appGive logged out users and browser users the option to disable automatic changes to input levels, same as those logged inUse cases: when I rush to make a meeting, sometimes there isn't time to log in (especially when using a frequently-expiring SSO), or sometimes I'm using a device where a browser is the only option. Since I have this audio option disabled on my app, I don't know or expect the input volume to change. It happens in the background, and I only discover the issue later when making a call or using another program, when I have to manually fix Zoom's mess. Ano
today ii had two meeting on zoom where I was the host. in both meetings, it said "recording in progress", but the meeting were never actually recorded, the recording icon appeared at the top, but now that im trying to find the recordings, nothing shows up. I don't understand what's going on
Recently, my user installed Zoom Workspace Version 6.4.10 (64378) on his new notebook, which is running Windows 11. He found that when joining a meeting, Zoom meeting often disconnects automatically after a few minutes. However, he can rejoin the meeting without issues, and everything remains normal until to end of the session. Do you have any ideas about what might be causing this and how to resolve it? Thank you.
