Feature request: mitigate Zoom lowering mic input volume for logged out and web users

By default, Zoom messes with Windows and Mac mic input volume. After quitting Zoom, the levels stay at whatever Zoom left them at, which affects other programs negatively. This issue can be disabled via a logged in Audio option in the app, but that leaves out logged out users and browser users.

Zoom should either:

  1. Restore mic input levels to what they were before Zoom was launched, in both the browser and the app
  2. Give logged out users and browser users the option to disable automatic changes to input levels, same as those logged in

Use cases: when I rush to make a meeting, sometimes there isn't time to log in (especially when using a frequently-expiring SSO), or sometimes I'm using a device where a browser is the only option. Since I have this audio option disabled on my app, I don't know or expect the input volume to change. It happens in the background, and I only discover the issue later when making a call or using another program, when I have to manually fix Zoom's mess.

Another use case: I sometimes work with elderly folks and seniors who don't understand things like logging in or manually fixing mic levels. Zoom hijacks their mic, and then leaves it broken for other applications, and it takes hours to fix.
