We are just migrating from another provider over to Zoom Phone. On our old provider, we have 1 phone number configured to send email notifications to a group email address when new SMS messages are received so multiple team members are aware. I've learned that Zoom Phone does not support email notifications for SMS messages, which is really strange. With that said, I did find there is SMS capabilities for auto receptionists and call queues that may solve this problem, but sales said we'd have to buy one Zoom Power Pack license for every Zoom Phone user. We have 8 users. That means $200 just to have multiple users notified when we receive an SMS message. That's more than we pay for our entire Zoom Phone system right now and seems ridiculous. I'm hoping there's another option here for such basic functionality. How have you notified multiple users of incoming SMS messages?
I attend and am often host of a regularly scheduled 12 step meeting on Zoom. If I host I have to login using the host code as I am not the owner of the account on which the meeting takes place. Lately a message pops up along the lines of the meeting is being recorded by AI. Obviously in a 12 step meeting anonymity is essential . We do not want this feature and do not even want it to pop up and ask to record. Under "Host Tools" and the "Allow all participants to:" I have unchecked " Record to computer", "Request to record to computer" and " Request host to start cloud recording ". I have also turned off AI Companion. The meeting is scheduled to start at 6:30am and about that time a thing called (something like) "Cross Coalition AI . . . " meeting recorder pops up as if it is another participant and I as host remove it. All of this is very unsettling for our participants and we really need help getting this resolved. I "attended" a Zoom seminar on my iPhone for work that was 4 hours long. I didn't use the Zoom ap on my I just used the link from my email. Now they are saying I was only active for 12 minutes, is there a way to view on my phone, how long my phone was connected for the meeting? Thanks in advance for your help.

I have a zoom meeting link that has been active for decade. Recently, I would like to edit the meeting detail, such as setting alternate host, etc. But I don't have any handle to control the meeting detail because I have lost the meeting handle long ago (what I mean is, this meeting name does not appear when I log into my zoom account.)Is there anyway to edit the detail of this meeting?
Has anyone ever encountered the Zoom capturing your screen while not logged into Zoom? On my Mac, I noticed a purple screen icon pop up in the menu bar at the top. When I left clicked, it said "zoom.us is capturing your screen." There was no way to exit I then logged into the Zoom app to check the settings, but I could not find anything relevant. I logged out of Zoom and the icon was still there. When I checked tried to Force Quit, Zoom was not found in the list for me to terminate. I ultimately shut down my computer, and when I turned it back on, the icon was gone.
I have been using the signage to show a mp4 video exported from a power point, today i went to upload a new version of the video and it just gets stuck on transcoding, I tried deleting it and re-adding it, tried uploading other videos, but they all just get stuck transcoding with the spinning wheel. Has anyone else had this issue today? I was last able to upload a video a few days ago.

Specifically, I’d like to apply this setting as part of a post-installation configuration, ideally using registry keys. This is for a paid account, and I have already enabled the HD video quality in the account settings. When I run a meeting on the desktop app, I can confirm that it streams at 720p. However, when I create and join a meeting using the Meeting SDK, the video output is only 640x360.

Hi everyone, this is my first post here, so be easy with me please 😛I would like to ask you about the current challenge I have in my company.I am a Zoom Admin, and Zoom Contact Centre Admin too.We are migrating from a phone app we have in place to Zoom Contact Centre/Zoom Phone. I checked with Zoom support, and it seems I need to do something called Digital Signage to be able to display the dashboard/s into one of my Wallboards. The wallboards, are just TVs connected to a small NUC on the back of the TV. The NUC doesn't have a Zoom client configured. Therefore, Zoom support told me to download Zoom Rooms for Conference Rooms and Touchscreen Displays, and install the client on the NUC connected to the TV. Then, Zoom support told me to install the client on the NUC, and select Sign In. Then I should be able to see a pairing code(I can see it), and with the code, I need to go to https://zoom.us/pair and type the code.I did that also. Then I see a prompt from Zoom asking
I recently updated Zoom on Linux to 5.17.5 and noticed a new behavior: when switching desktops the mini-window appears on the first desktop I switch to, but if I switch to a 3rd desktop (or, back to the original) it remains pinned to the second desktop.In other words, once mini-Zoom appears it stays put on the desktop it goes mini on.Past behavior was that the mini-Zoom window followed me around until I needed to maximize it again. This was the desired behavior and for me, very handy.Now it's quite easy to lose the mini window (when you have 10 workspaces and dozens of browser windows.. don't judge!).Is this a setting which can be adjusted and reset to the old behavior?
The company I work for would like to see AI Companion metrics by department (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, etc.).Currently I see no way for me to pull AIC metrics except at the macro company level, even though I have all my company's departments loaded into Zoom via SSO/SAML and populated for every user account.
Hoping to get some help here.I've been using Zoom to host meetings on my iPad and I need to share my screen. For nearly three years this has worked perfectly fine. Since the beginning of the year this function became unreliable as I had to frequently cancel and then retry the screen share before it worked. Over the past few weeks this has completely stopped working. I've done everything from ensure IOS is properly updated to deleting the Zoom app and then reinstalling. During a few tests with an internal team member it did work one time, but that was it.Anyone else having this problem? I tested this on my iPhone and at least that one test worked fine. Not sure why it is so buggy on the iPad.Thanks in advance for any help.
I was excited to try out the advanced polling feature "Rank Order" poll for an upcoming meeting. We have five candidates for two open positions on a committee, and rank order polling would help the committee quickly identify the top two candidates in a single vote. The Rank Order poll on Zoom, however, has some challenges that prevent it from being effective: The Rank Order poll automatically includes an un-editable description that the rankings are on a scale of Strongly Disagree to Strongly Agree. This has nothing to do with ranking. Users can select the same rank multiple times in the poll - for example, ranking everything #1 - which skews poll results. We keep getting in a situation where one of the support team members is out and we need to upload a video to his account to convert one of his webinars to Simulive. Is this done thru zoom docs or sharing docs? How do I set that up so our support team van do it amongst us?
I'm curious to see if the community has any feedback on this:We've had complaints about users not being able to get past the menu. We've entered tickets to Zoom but their data shows that the users never presseda menu option. However, the users claim that they did. In an effort to lose those users, we updated the call flow to make sure the call goes to voicemail for the team to monitor. Doing this has inundated us with voicemails with dead air. There's roughly 60+ voicemails on a given day. What can we do to better handle this and avoid the unneeded extra noise?
I am trying to Sync Azure AD Profile pictures for all users to ZoomI am trying to find info on this but cannot find any valid documentation anywhere. I found articles with people using ADFS to do this but i got rid of ADFS not going back. Does anyone have any information on whether this is possible, I have an ongoing tickect with support but were going in circles
The participant I invited to a meeting was unable to join via the browser. She was supposed to download the Zoom app first, but she didn't want to. Until now, everyone could join the Zoom meeting via the invitation link and no one had to download the Zoom app. What happened here? This is a major disadvantage for my online meetings with Zoom if it no longer works via browser. Where do I change this?
I am looking to move to Zoom calls/whiteboards for my online tutoring business. I want to subscribe to the Pro plan for the calls and add the Whiteboard option (rather than the full Business plan) so that I can have more than 3 boards. I want to be able to create multiple boards as templates that I will copy to individual students copies as and when they are needed. This would mean that each student may have more than 3 boards. As my students will be using a Basic plan does that mean that they will only be able to access a max of 3 boards.Any advice will be gratefully received.Best wishesSimon
In Zoom webinar, there is a setting avaiable to choose a slected set of emojis. That also includes laughing emoji. Since there is no facility to see who is using the emoji in webinar setup so some people misuse that emoji. The effectiveness of a webinar reduces because of that. Other selected emojis are good to be there as even if someone uses them excessively it doesn't create wrong impression. So I strongly suggest that either that laughing emoji is removed from the selected set of emojis or some other provision is given.

I'm not sure which location to post this question.Zoom has a noise reduction feature on its live feed but is doesn't seem to have the same capability when using Zoom's video playback feature. Does anyone know if there is a way to reduce this background noise?ThanksBob
