This has been happening for several weeks now. My cell phone (while away from my desk) will vibrate to all get out -- but no pop up appears that allows me to answer the phone. So any incoming call on my Google Pixel just rings until it goes to voicemail. I haven't tested this theory yet, because it seems implausible, but is this happening because it is not on WIFI?I have just uninstalled it on my phone to alleviate the frustration. If there is a fix or answer, I'll reinstall, but this isn't worth the anxiety knowing I am missing a call, but have no way to answer it. It's mocking me, LOL.
During the last 3-4 webinars I've attended, I can't use the chat feature, even though other attendees are able to use it. For example, the host says "Put your answer in the chat." But when I try to type in the chat box, I get a message, "Chat disabled." But clearly the chat is not disabled for everyone, only for me. This only started happening a couple of weeks ago. I can't find any setting to change this. What is going on?
How are folks handling call status tracking when using call queues to route call forwarding? The company I work for has this insane idea that a call should never end up in a voicemail box, yet there is nothing setup to allow callers to wait for the next available representative. This causes managers/leadership to get worked up whenever they call someone and the person they are calling does not pick up and others on the team are not able to pick up so they end up in a voicemail box. Example: Our typical configuration is as follows for a 5 person team: all members of the team have direct dial numbers. If person 1 is called, their phone rings first. If person 1 is unable to answer, the call forwards to a call queue containing all 5 members of the team (including person 1). If all 5 people are unable to answer, it will route to the original callee's voicemail box (person 1 in this example). The same configuration is true for all 5 team members.
We were running Zoom Video meetings and a few of our participants would use the Zoom Dial in number to access via phone because they did not have access to video. When they would dial in they would be asked for 1) Zoom Meeting ID# 2) Participant ID 3) the meeting passcode. This feature worked seamlessly for our phone participants for over a year. Recently this all came to an end. Now when they dial in they enter the meeting ID (Which has not changed) and receive this message..."This Meeting Does Not Allow Phone Dial In" and then the line disconnects. Nothing has changed on the admin side. All settings have been the same for over a year. Any suggestions on what may have changed to cause this?
So the latest Zoom update to the meetings has the private direct messages from participants to host open in seperate tabs. Previously, all messages, irrespective of public or direct would appear on one screen in a list. However when conducting classes where only questions can be asked from the teacher directly and no public nor private chat, this is extremely annoying. Especially in classes with many students, each time a new message comes up, it's required to go to that person's tab to read it. Is there a way to revert it to the old way, where all messages comes in one screen? Thanks in advance
I have a scenario where 2 laptops are in the same space, one is hosting and the other is presenting a video with audio. The hosting laptop is connected to the room system, so any audio coming from the host computer will be amplified to the room. This includes any audio that the presenting laptop screen shares. So to avoid an echo, it would be ideal for the presenting laptop (MacBook) to screen share with sound, but not output audio to the laptop. I want the laptop to only output audio to Zoom. But the volume of the screen shared audio seems to be tied with the laptop output volume. If I mute volume output on the MacBook, the screen shared audio is muted. In the Zoom meeting if I "Leave Computer Audio" the audio is still heard both through the laptop speakers and the screen share. What I really need in Zoom is a "Select a speaker: None" option. The fix right now is to plug in headphones. Is there a way to screen share with audio but not output audio to the computer
Hello everyone, Is it possible to recover meetings, clicking on the respective links that have expired?I remember having converted a zoom meeting to an .mp4 archive, two years ago. That conversion was before its expiry date and so I managed to have it at my disposal, even now, having saved it in the 'Downloads' section of my computer. In the case I am describing now, the expiry date is over and, moreover, I don't remember exactly how I did that conversion, the only thing I remember is that I pressed the 'download' button at the archive and it was saved in the 'downloads' section as an .mp4.Now this 'trick' doesn't work anymore. If there is some other solution, I would be glad to know. Thank you
I am very frustrated. I teach an online lecture on art history. In the past, I augmented my lectures with different media. I was able to play sound from my Spotify and YouTube accounts, and I successfully embedded my PowerPoint presentations on Zoom without issue. Now I cannot do this, at least not consistently. Zoom's help site says: "select SHARE SOUND"However, when I do NOT have a SHARE SOUND option!I ensured that my sound settings were set for my MacBook Pro—still nothing. I'm beyond frustrated because of all the work I have put in. Does anyone have advice? It does not say I need an update (I did one recently)
Hello, for about a month I am struggling with this issue. Before that, I never had this problem. When the host plays an audio or video, the music is filtered out, while the singer's voice I can still kind of hear, though. I tried all possible settings and all possible combinations. Also, on my Asus Vivobook (which I ended up updating (Windows, audio, ...) but the problem still persists.Last week, I fiddled around again with the Zoom audio (additional) settings, and the problem seemed solved. However, with the next song that was played, the problem arose again. I have daily Zoom sessions with music in the background. So this is a very annoying problem. Any suggestions?
We have created an App called DFS_RTMS_APP, we have added events as RTMS_started and RTMS stopped as shown in the screenshot . When we added other events related to meeting like meeting started and meeting stopped these events are getting captured in logs but when we check the logs rtms started and rtms stopped is not getting triggered..This was working until friday and we tested also but since yesterday these RTMS events are not getting triggered . Please let us know if we need to trigger any settings change for this to work .
Issues with Metro Bundler After Integrating Zoom Meeting SDK in React Native (Android)Hello,After integrating the Zoom Meeting SDK into my React Native Android project, I encountered the following issues:Metro Bundler is not working properly, making it difficult to debug or run the app.Changes are not reflected in the app, even after restarting Metro and clearing the cache.
I have used Zoom for most of my 184 Keynote shows. Tonight, I was not able to show my file as a single-screen/slide. It showed the group the Presenter Screen - with the Next Slide showing. Something changed - not as intuitive as before. Also - Share Computer Audio. I find it. I click on it. I chose Mono. But my audience never heard the audio clips. THAT really is annoying. I see no difference in my local screen between NOT sharing audio and sharing audio. Zoom for Mac. Upgraded this afternoon to the latest version. Clint Bradford
How can I contact Zoom Support to get ‘Meeting chat - Private group messages’ added to my ‘In Meeting - Basic’ settings?
Hi, I have a problem with a share screen during a meeting. I use three monitors for my desktop PC, and when I want to share screen and try to choose screen 2 or 3, it does not appear. Also, I try to go to the advance for screen portion. It is not there. There are no options for that. Previously, I used to have them; I am trying to understand why these options are now missing under the share screen. I tried to search under Zoom Help and couldn't find information to resolve this problem. I uninstalled, restarted my computer, and closed and opened zoom, but nothing changed. I resort to this now with the community for Help! Appreciate it if someone familiar with this problem could provide some guidance! Thank you Best regards,Fareez
-------------------------------------------------------------HelloWe currently have the Pro plan and we want to hold a meeting with simultaneous translation. We don't have a person to do the translation, nor do the subtitles work for us. What we want to know is if it is possible for me, for example, to speak in English and the users can listen to the translation in ukrainian, but without a person doing it, but through zoom automatically. If the plan we have (Pro) does not work
in getting ready for a zoom meeting I had 'camera disabled' once zoom started on my windows 10 desktop that uses a USB webcam. Seeing 'disabled' I started checking permissions of the browser (duckduckgo and chrome). I had recently changed from Norton 360 to bitdefender -so I went through all those settings. I next went to 'settings - devices' because I thought well maybe the camera quit working or a reboot was required. Device wasn't listed. Trace cable to webcam - it is unplugged. If the zoom application simply said 'camera unavailable' or 'camera not present' then I would have check it first. Since the application said 'camera disabled' someone with decades in the trade assumes that something is blocking access to the camera, but the system knows the camera is plugged in. The crafting of error message text is important. Many products simply say 'xxxx has e
How can I integrate Zoom for Mac with iCal so that when I schedule a new meeting using the Zoom app, it automatically opens iCal? This was a feature I've been using for years on my old MacBook, but on the most recent version of Zoom Version: 6.3.6 (47101) it appears to no longer be an option.
As a participant it's always been possible to save the chat in a Zoom meeting. I've upgraded to Zoom Workplace and I can't seem to find the option for saving the chat. Has this function been taken away?
Hi! I am working on a Mac, and for years, all meetings I created in Zoom were directly entered into ical. This has stopped working since I upgraded to a new computer. I have browsed this forum, and no solutions I have found seem to be working. What can I do?
Good afternoon I was wondering, how do i delete zoom history { meetings i've been in and joined } plz tell me asap. Kind RegardsMicheya
We have our zoom rooms set to automatically share content when you plug the HDMI in, but when the room is in an idle state this does not work. Is there a way to set it up so idle ends when HDMI is plugged in?
I would like to automatically share Zoom AI summaries with all attendees of a meeting. While there is already an option for this, it does not work when the members are under a Google group. In this case, the members under the group are not given access to the summary automatically and must be given access manually which is tedious for groups with a large number of members. Can this be changed so meetings shared to groups give access to all members of group to AI summary.
I am attending my first zoom event, and I don’t see any sort of microphone option. I wish there was something confirming that I am muted. Does anyone know if the lack of any sort of mic display means that no one can hear me? I completely muted my computer mic after a minute but I’m just curious.
Hello,I have seen the new option of ZOOM with automatically translated captions in different languages "translated captions".I bought this option and activated it in the advanced settings (image 1). However when I start a meeting this option does not start and I just have the option to put the subtitles in the spoken language without translation (image 2).Does anyone know if I have forgotten to activate anything? I can't find anything on google to help me.Thank you for your help!Nadine
