Hello. I recorded a Zoom meeting, and the recording file once converted has been corrupted. It has video and audio for the first 10 seconds, but it freezes and the audio cuts out until the last 30 seconds. My Zoom is updated. Also, the recording didn't appear in the recording section of my account. I have a 2020 MacBook, and the basic plan. Any help? Thanks.
Hi , I have one user who have a recurring Zoom network connection issue when joining a Bi-weekly meeting.
Hello, I`m newly using the zoom account of the company which I´m working at. But I don´t know why and how, the function where you can only share a little partof your screen (the green square which you can move around) doesn´t exist. I searched everything and tried everything in die screen share functions becauseit´s very ne
Has Zoom enabled a way to duplicate meetings INCLUDING the invitees? I feel like I'm forced to reinvent the wheel every time I want to schedule another meeting with the same team. Thanks!
We have been looking at the Zoom Phone system QOS to determine why some clients are reporting poor sound quality occurring 1-2 times per week. To be more specific, callers are reporting that our user sounded distorted or echo-ey while we heard clearly from them. We ran a certification on the wired network ports, patch cables, and phone cables. We were able to look at specific events, and the QOS showed that they were 4.1-4.5 good quality calls. The only commonality I could see between them was that they all showed a 12kbps sending bitrate when known good calls showed a 50-75kbps sending bitrate. Zooms website says that bandwidth needs are 60-100kbps for calls. Could this actually be the cause of the poor sound quality? If the recommended bandwidth is 60-100 kbps, why is it rating a 12kbps call is good quality?
Seriously, I don't expect this post to be here long, but not having the option to keep any type of real-time support unless I spend $50/month is a knock-on small business. I am a sole proprietor and only need 1 Zoom account, most of my meetings are either one-to-one or small groups I have no idea how to or want to spend $50 a month to even access the chat support option. when I looked into the business option the minimum account size was 10 accounts or 1999.00 a year. Last time I checked, small individuals made your success possible, yet now we are no longer relevant. Shame on this decision zoom, shame...
There are 2 types of Webinar Zoom type, first participant allowed / can turn on/off the audio or camera icon below. In this type the audio volume in smartphone can easily turn up and down. The second type, participants are passive, can not turn on/off audio and camera ( no icon below usually have hand wave icon ). In this type the volume is always maximum can not turn up and down except I cross the audio icon at the left top. I always use smartphone Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. I wonder this bugs is on the smartphone or zoom apps ?
A weird issue that has only just started this week in a large corporate environment which appears to implicate Zoom’s Cloud Room Connector for both Webinars and Meetings:- laptop to laptop - music AOK- laptop to Cisco - music not ok with original music mode making no difference- Cisco to laptop - music not ok with Cisco’s noise cancelling, Neutral and Music selections making no difference- Cisco to Cisco over Zoom - music also not ok Anyone else hearing recent Cloud Room Connector music issues? Have you guys seen any issues this week? I’m wondering if it is actually a new Zoom fault. I’ve seen it on multiple meetings and webinars in different locations.
Are there any plans to add support for LG WebOS or ipk package distributions for Zoom? It would be great to be able to use these televisions for Zoom meetings and gatherings!
I am part of a weekly zoom conference where the host is sharing audio. The audio is sometimes too quiet for some of us, while too loud for others. Is there a way to adjust the volume being shared to a specific user, either from the host or by the user themselves? For example, could every member of the conference have audio being shared to them, and one member have the shared audio muted, turned down significantly, or turned up significantly, just for themselves? Specifically looking for advice geared towards MacBooks.
Good evening, I forgot to record a super important meeting.. is there a way to retrieve this meeting?tks
Dear All, The new Zoom plugin for Elgato Streamdeck is released as Version 1.0.xxxxx If you are using the old Zoom Plugin, not by Zoom. You can expect problems because the two plugins then try to be called Zoom. Please uninstall the old Zoom plugin before you install the new Zoom Plugin. It is still an amaxing Application John Drinkwater
Hello,We want to use Show Captions in a meeting, but when we select Spanish it continues to show English. However, when I click on other languages from Russian to French the translation is working.
6.6.0.33360Galaxy S23+ SM-S916UOneUI 8Android version 16 When I join a meeting, I am able to use "Original Sound for Musicians" but if I use it with a bluetooth device (Logitech Zone Wireless 2) then I sound like a chipmunk to everyone in the meeting. If I turn off bluetooth or Original Sound, then I sound fine. One of my colleagues who also uses an Android has the same issue.
Can anyone help with how to change your default download folder for recorded Zoom sessions? The info online is either old or wrong; they've led to dead ends. Thanks in advance.
I have my kids' Chromebooks set up to only allow approved sites. When they try to join a zoom meeting, they are getting a reCAPTCHA error. ("You failed the reCAPTCHA verification") If I change the setting to allow all sites, they can join. I've tried on two different devices with 2 different google accounts. Is there a site I can allow that will enable reCAPTCHA validation without removing the filtering I have set up on google Family Link? This was not an issue last spring; we just encountered it at the beginning of this school year.
Zoom allows spammers to promote products by hosting webinars and adding participants. Despite reporting these webinars to the trust and safety team, no action has been taken. Why hasn't any action been taken against these spammers? The problem is worsening daily with more spam webinars emerging.
I have been using Zoom professionally for about half a decade now and I love it.I am a professional technical consultant and show control programmer for theatre, dance, art installations, and remote performance. The software I use is called Isadora and two very important keyboard shortcuts are Cmd+3 and Cmd+4. Without them, I can only work at one tenth the speed I normally do. I use Zoom to meet remotely with clients, I have them screenshare, then I request remote control so I can work on their Isadora files in-situ (with their hardware, media, the real production computer, etc). My problem is that sometimes I can use the keyboard shortcuts in Isadora sometimes, but occasionally, (and I cannot for the life of me figure out why), Zoom starts stealing the keyboard focus and eating the critical keyboard shortcuts Cmd+3 and Cmd+4, leaving me completely unable to work remotely. Instead, Cmd+3 does nothing and Cmd+4 brings up this "Scale your business" ad: Scree
I recently attended a Zoom call hosted by someone else. I joined as a guest, and didn't have my own Zoom account at the time/wasn't logged in. I requested permission to record the call, which the host granted, and the recording icon was present throughout the call. After the call ended, the host does not recall seeing the video converting message, and cannot find the recording locally/in the cloud. Likewise, I cannot find the recording locally, and as I say, wasn't logged in/didn't even have an account at that time. What has become of the recording, and how can we access it?Many thanks in advance!
I use the latest Debian version (5.7.6) of the Zoom client on Ubuntu 20.04. At seemingly random times (but about once or twice every day), the Zoom application starts by itself without any intervention on my part. This happens while the application was previously shut down (i.e. not just minimized). This has been happening ever since I used Zoom on Linux, in all versions of the client, three different computers and at least two versions of Ubuntu (18.04 and 20.04). I tried searching whether some cron job or something else would cause Zoom to start, but did not find anything. The last time Zoom started by itself, I used htop to see what its parent process was (see attached screenshot), but did not get very far (parent process is /sbin/init). My two questions are: Could you explain what is starting Zoom? Could you tell me how to stop it from doing this? Best, Sylvain
I have two Zoom accounts I log into and switch between. One is work, the other is personal - they have different avatar images so I can tell them apart. If someone from my company and I are logging into the same meeting that someone ELSE sent the link for, I have to log in through my personal account so that my colleague and I are using different accounts to enter the meeting to avoid connectivity issues. I used to be able to simply "switch accounts" to the one I needed to use without needing to fully log out and then back in. Now, regardless of which account I appear to have switched to via the computer app, when I initiate the Zoom, I enter the meeting under my work account. Interestingly, if I'm in the waiting room, my avatar shows me as entering via my personal account, but once I'm actually IN the meeting, I'm in as my work account. All other functions switch appropriately when I switch accounts without actually logging out. It's just
Is there a way to retrieve a chat after I have left the meeting and the meeting has been closed?

Where do I find the Video Effects button so I can turn it off!!!
I'm techno challenged and very basic. I teach quilting and occasionally do zoom classes. Previously, I used my laptop with document camera for one area, but then I had to join from my iPhone camera which was positioned over my sewing machine in another part of the room. It worked fine. Recently, I was doing a class, and when I went to sign in from the iPhone camera, I was knocked out of the meeting and couldn't get back in on my computer, and had to try to finish the class holding the iPhone in my hand while trying to sew. I guess something has changed. I did look up and follow the instructions in the settings - changing to allowing up to 3 devices, but it says of the same type. I need a computer for my dox camera and then my phone for over the sewing machine at the same time. I do not have a young person available to help me.Can someone please help me - in plain, old people language?? LOL. It's probably something super simple that
