Zoom Meeting Audio Volume Always Max

There are 2 types of Webinar Zoom type, first participant allowed / can turn on/off the audio or camera icon below. In this type the audio volume in smartphone can easily turn up and down.

The second type, participants are passive,  can not turn on/off audio and camera ( no icon below usually have hand wave icon ). In this type the volume is always maximum can not turn up and down except I cross the audio icon at the left top. I always use smartphone Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. I wonder this  bugs is on the smartphone or zoom apps ?

    Hi there!

I see that it's been a while since you reached out to Community with this issue. Have you found a solution yet? If so, feel free to share here so others might benefit from this knowledge.

It could be that in the type of webinar you experience this issue, the webinar overrides the phone's volume buttons. Zoom client sound settings can be tested and adjusted to your preference. See:

    Hello,
My name is Brandon. Thanks for joining the Zoom Community! The default volume for participants of both Zoom Meetings and Zoom Webinars is controlled by the participants machine. The volume on the host computer does not affect the volume other than the ability for an attendee in a Webinar not being able to turn on/off audio (aka mute).

    I hope that this helps.

    Brandon

It is the same to me. Whenever I connect to Zoom using my headset in Zoom it is quite loud because the volume setting in System > Sound > Mixer > Zoom Webinar (also Zoom Meetings) is back to 100. I have to put it down to 5. In the next zoom session (meeting or webinar) it will be the same again. Also if I change the speaker to e.g. system sound and switch back to headset the volume is back to 100. This is annoying. Any solution to have the setting permanent?

I have the same. Not only that, it keeps going back to max whenever I test the audio in zoom. And every time I connect to a meeting (also using BT headphones). Windows audio mixer can be set, but it just overrides it at any time.

So far, I've had to experiment with an autorun script that detects zoom is running and resets the volume, but it has to run forever, since zoom will set it to max for almost any random reason.
