I’m trying to use “My Notes” to save the transcripts of my meetings with clients.  It is saving the transcript but, when I try to export it, only the title goes, not the transcript.  I am able to export the summary, though, with no problem.  Can anyone help?  I’ve followed all the steps I can find on the internet to resolve this issue but, nothing is working. Thank you in advance!

Hi Zoom Community,Wondering if anyone else is running into this glitch.Today (06.09.25), I noticed that my chat options changed unexpectedly during a Zoom session. Behind the scenes, all of my meeting settings allow participants to chat publicly and privately (host only, everyone, and individual participants). However, as soon as someone else joined my meeting, the private chat options disappeared. The only option available was to chat with everyone.I double-checked my Zoom settings—everything is enabled to allow full chat functionality. To troubleshoot, I set up a test session and had someone join. As soon as they entered the room, the same thing happened: chat instantly defaulted to “Everyone” only, and all private chat options were removed.Private messaging is a key part of how I facilitate training sessions, so this is a major disruption.Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Up to recently the feature of activating Full Transcript in a non-recorded meeting was available; however, currently it is locked by Admin. Is there any way to enable that feature? Thank you.

Cloud recording audio and video start at 00:00, but the Zoom-generated transcript starts at 51:00. There is only one recording file set, and re-downloading the transcript does not fix it.

I’m teaching English in Japan and Zoom classes are generally one on one. I’m using Version: 7.0.5 (81138) on an iMac/MacOS 25.6. If I share audio from the textbook we are using via the Mac’s Music app I am often unable to hear student responses when it is their turn to speak They can hear me. I can see their lips moving but audio does not work. We pause. I ask them to count to five. I ask random questions and after a while the audio link is reestablished. Yesterday, after a particularly long interruption when none of the Q&A hacks helped I asked the student to mute and unmute their mic and this did the trick. Are other users experiencing the same trouble? It seems to have been getting worse in recent weeks. Zoom’s updates are less frequent. If this is a widespread problem has anyone had advice from Zoom’s Support system? I have contacted them a number of times on various issues and not once have I received a response. 

There are two of us in two different countries who need full access to our Zoom meetings Pro account. But when we get a security request for a code, we are unable to comply due to security code being sent by email when we have a different email or no email client on the Zoom computer. What is the solution to this problem?

Hello Zoom Support Team,I am experiencing a persistent issue on my Windows laptop and would appreciate your help.Since I bought my device (HP OmniBook 7 Laptop 17-dc0xxx, Windows 11), two host/co‑host controls are completely missing in every meeting:- The option to *lower a participant’s raised hand* does not appear at all.- The option to *Ask to unmute* for muted participants is also missing.These options are simply not there — they do not show up in the participant list or anywhere else.When I join the same meetings from my Samsung phone, everything works normally. I find the live transcipt feature very useful during our calls. I don't usually make an audio recording of calls. But when the conversation is finished, I usually have to wait until everybody has signed out and then shuffle about to find the transcript,  then open it, then view it in folder and then save it in a relevant directory on my computer.  If I exit the call myself as the host, there does not seem to be way to find the transcript.  My method seems clumsy and wasteful. Is there a better/faster way to do this and can I do it after the call is completed.  TIA GB

Since the last update, I can no longer see any of my recurring, anytime meetings under the meeting tab. Does anyone know how I can access them in the desktop client or is this another thing that I must do from the browser?

I'm trying use Facebook Live or Zoom Live and I do not have option on my Zoom. Why?

Lately, whenever I start Zoom on a Windows 11 machine, it immediately opens my web browser to a Zoom shopping cart page, with Zoom Workplace Pro already in the shopping cart.  I have no interest in that product, nor in any product that is continually shoved down my throat.  I understand if you want to ASK me ONCE if I’d like to upgrade.  But to repeatedly open a shopping cart with a product already loaded into it without the user’s request or permission is really obnoxious.  How can I keep this from happening?

The Auto-Generated Closed captions are a very useful tool on meetings, and I know that we have the ability to save the transcripts. I would like to see an option to automatically save the transcript of meetings, differentiated based on whether I am a participant or host. Or at least a prompt. As it currently stands if I forget to save the transcript before I leave a meeting there is no way to recover it.  Tyler

Similar to this topic, I would like to have dark mode on Linux. As a Linux user, I feel that the topic didn’t fully address the kind of assistance both the original poster, users, and I were hoping for. The current setup still leans heavily on light mode, which can be pretty harsh on the eyes, especially during long sessions or late-night workflows. While there are three options to tweak the top bar and meeting background, they don’t touch the Zoom background itself, which stays glaringly white. That sudden brightness spike is jarring, basically being flashbanged at 3 in the morning. So, a proper dark mode that darkens everything, not just fragments, would be a huge improvement. Including this in the theme selection or rolli

Hi, I use my Zoom AI Companion to record and take notes of my Teams meetings as well. I just got a new laptop and for some reason it does not record the other participants in my Teams meeting now - it only records and keeps the transcript for me. How do I fix this issue? Thanks Bob

This is something I never noticed myself as I always keep the right-side chat panel open during meetings.  But apparently, as of the April 2022 release of Zoom, there is a Chat Preview popup which appears for in-meeting chat if you do not have the chat panel/popup open.  It hovers over the Chat button briefly every time someone chats:  A user of mine was asking if it was possible to permanently disable this popup, as it is a bit annoying (something I agree with).  If one hits ^ next to the chat button, there is an option to disable this chat preview.  However, unchecking this option only lasts for the duration of your meeting.  If you leave the meeting and join another meeting, the Show Chat Previews option goes back to being turned on by default. 

Others say they can’t hear me but I hear them fine. New iPad. I have to get my mouth really close to the microphone for them to hear me. 

Zoom crashes immediately when I open it after updating my Mac to macOS Tahoe 26.0.1. So sad. I have tried several versions of Zoom, but all the ways I tried cannot work,  is there any solution?

I have four displays, with virtual screens on one of them. The latter can be assigned by dragging the menu bar to it in the System Settings app, Display, “Arrange...” button.If the Zoom Workplace window is on that screen, when I select “About Zoom Workplace” from the menu bar, the About window pops up on to of the  Workplace window. The Workplace window is greyed out until the close button is clicked on the pop-up window, or the Esc button is pressed on the keyboard.If it is on any other screen, the About window is off-screen to the right; i.e. invisible. This can be seen by pressing the Exposé button on the keyboard (F3 on recent MacBooks).I’ve reproduced this on Version: 7.0.0 (77593), but it was present on my previous version as well (of which I couldn’t figure out which version it was because of this problem; until I recently figured out that it behaves correctly on one of the displays.)
