What is the best way to identify and stop persistent bombers. This is a 24/7 meeting.  All Newcomers are welcome. So,  we cannot change the ID and passcode.  Members develop "beef" and come in to screw with the chat. Chat is a critical part for all members. How can the specific IP's be identified and permanently blocked? Are there any legitimate threats that can be DM'ed to them before booting?  They are removed very quickly. Same IP cannot return until the 24 hour reboot. Chat is cleared in seconds but then must be temporarily shut down. They don't return during the same hour.  But they return within several hours in the past few weeks. Same post over and over lately. Solutions?

I just logged into try and schedule some meetings and the whole interface has been changed.  I go to click on meetings and it gives me the option to "host" or "join" a meeting....  Sigh.....  Where the heck did they move the dashboard when you used to log into your account and it launched right then and there.  Now it's filled with all sorts of garbage promoting more services to buy that don't interest me and clutter up my screen. And, where do you request support to chat with a support agent?  I'm not interested in their stupid AI bots. I don't understand why they have to make things harder.

I’ve had automatic recordings set for my meetings for a number of years with no problem. The recordings started as soon as the meeting did, informed the participants that it was being recorded, and the recording automatically saved to my computer. Easy. Suddenly, a few weeks ago, despite still having record option chosen in my settings (I didn’t touch the settings), the meetings are no longer being recorded - AND there is no option while the meeting is going to manually press record. Nothing. Nada. No button to press, no options in settings. I reached out to Zoom customer service about 20 times (not kidding), they keep sending me emails saying they’re looking into it and to be patient (with the exception of one email yesterday asking me whether I’ve followed their advice yet…??). But the issue remains. I do think it a bit odd that this all started the week they introduced the AI companion feature. But I can’t seem to find anyone with a similar issue.I’m not a pa

At the end of last year, direct messages would have their own tab in the chat. I switched to running my classes in zoom because I liked that feature. Upon my return to school this year, that feature was gone. I really liked it because my direct chats get lost in the shuffle of all other messages and I am missing student chats. Is there a way to get that back or maybe a setting that I need to make for this to happen again?Thank you 

Hello, can anyone tell me how my zoom participants can share their photos that they have on their computer or phone?  I tried doing so myself and the picture comes up but it is small.  Is there a way to share a photo to the chat box?

Hello,So up to now I've been able to use a Rode Video Mic-Me USB-C external microphone on Zoom calls with no issues.  I log in via the Zoom App on a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra (Android).  After a hiatus over the holidays, however, when I plug this mic before/during a Zoom meeting I get a pop-up stating the video cannot be turned on and that I should check if other apps are using the camera.   The microphone works fine when recording video on the native camera app while not on a Zoom, so I know it's not Android OS or my phone causing the problem.  Also, I plugged in USB-C earbuds during a Zoom meeting with no issues, so I know its not just any USB device blocking the camera - only my Rode mic Moreover, if I start my own Zoom meeting, the camera works (I can see myself) until someone else joins, whereupon the outgoing camera completely shuts off and I receive said error msg.  While I can se

Weird thing happened this morning. A student of mine shared his screen with me, which we do roughly once per term. When he opened sharing for his desktop, I could see his web browser with a Zoom page showing - he was using the Zoom app, but had the browser open. His Apple Logic Pro application was already open under that window. Now, when he closed the web browser, only the top quarter of the Logic screen showed up, and behaved as expected - I could see his mouse pointer and the actions he was performing. But the rearming three quarters of my screen showed the web browser page he had closed. Like those three quadrants were frozen. We tried quitting an opening a new meeting (initiated at his end not mine) but the same thing happened. When his screen was already on Logic Pro before sharing, it looked right until he started doing things and then I could see that three quarters of my view were in fact frozen.He is on an Intel Mac running OS X Mojave and I am on a Mac M1 running S

how do i play music during zoom meetings?

 The aspect ratio for my camera is off, but only in zoom. Teams works fine. Other apps that access my camera work fine.I have tried selecting “Original ratio” and it adds black bars to both sides of the image and squishes it. Without “original ratio” the camera is “zoomed in” vertically, but obviously squished.The “HD” selection feels like it should fix it, but that does nothing as far as I can tell.Any recommendations appreciated.  Normal Camera Program:Normal camera program. Hi, thanks for taking my question. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to have the control toolbar always on the host's primary laptop screen and not on the extended monitor screen. I don't want my in-house audience to see how many participants or any of the control features. I want to manage zoom independently on my primary screen. I am a coach and lead my masterclasses live in fb groups. Since facebook now deletes lives after 30 days, I see some coaches leading classes on zoom and live stream into facebook group. Hello, I recently bought a new Dell G15. I play weekly Dungeons and Dragons via Zoom where the host shares music with us. I can hear everyone speaking, but cannot hear the music. Everyone else can hear the music perfectly. I can only hear their voices. Someone other than host tried sharing music. Everyone else could hear it except me. I can hear my friends voices perfectly fine. It is as though some setting is automatically muting the music. This happens when I use the base speakers and microphone on the laptop, or when I use a Snowball external microphone and headphones, or when I use airpods. Any combination of base system, headphones, external microphone, I can hear my friends' voices but cannot hear the music.  Yes, I have made sure to select the correct output speaker and input headphones, in both desktop client settings and in the actual meetings. I’ve received notification from zoom for permission to a video.  I’ve never had to grant permission when I provide the link with the password.  The link and password will not allow access to the video.  Any suggestions?

During Covid, I built an assistive device which the device being used for Zoom meetings sees as a keyboard.It has buttons on it that allow for very quick and easy access to two functions, Mic Mute, and Raising your Hand. It works very well on Windows, though I have not had a user using Mac to test it on that platform.I inquired about this first question in 2021 or so, and I was told it was actually being worked on. I understand why keyboard shortcuts for toggling Mute and the Hand are used, as the user most of the time can see the indicators on screen. Assistive devices, though would work so much better if there was separate keys for Muting, and Unmuting, as well as Raising the hand, and Lowering the hand. I would never suggest removing the current keys, but perhaps keys that perform these functions could be added? Could that be possible?Another question I have has to do with mobile devices, which more and more are being used with keyboards. I feel that i

I find the live transcipt feature very useful during our calls. I don't usually make an audio recording of calls. But when the conversation is finished, I usually have to wait until everybody has signed out and then shuffle about to find the transcript,  then open it, then view it in folder and then save it in a relevant directory on my computer.  If I exit the call myself as the host, there does not seem to be way to find the transcript.  My method seems clumsy and wasteful. Is there a better/faster way to do this and can I do it after the call is completed.  TIA GB

We are a small non-profit with a Zoom Pro account that we share amongst different people.  That is, we have a number of different meetings all owned by the same Zoom account, but  different people run them and all those people have a need to log into Zoom using our one Zoom Pro account in order to run the meeting as Host..    Let's say that the one Zoom account is "***********" and note that one person only can log into that email. Today, for the first time, someone got the message, "We detected an unusual sign-in from a device or location you don't usually use. If this was you, enter the code below to sign in to Zoom"  and, of course, Zoom sent the code to *********** but the person running the meeting was not the person who has access to the email! You see the problem.  How can w
